Many of us heard of this birders paradise and many revisit year after other but most would arguably agree its definitely a paradise you would want to revisit time and again, also spend not a few hours but few days till you get your dream shots. I have not visited any temple by this name... Indeed in the middle of bharatpur's hustle bustle market, this is indeed an intricate work... Got some toys for my kid, a normal or some may say sub-normal market in terms of ambience, looked like one of our sadar market (Delhi), no food outlets as such but you can find city spice( good place to dine) nearly 3-4 km... Temple has no showoff, but can spend some time sitting ...

everything here is devoted to Shri hari.Banke bihari mandir is one of oldest and have probably largest devotees specially marwari. The deity of Bihari ji is so beautiful ,force you to adore and bow in front. Temple is old so not able to adjust all devotees specially on weekends & holidays so just to avoid these days. Try sweets and chat in neighboring shops.one more thing if want to enjoy vrindavan leave your vehicle travel in rickshaw with the words radhe radhe

Worth spending time in this marv palace. Some points for east travelling. 1. Thr is no ticket for entry. Only 25 rs for the museum. Foreign guests not aware. But digital payment system available. 2. Approach road in shambles. I came via govardhan. 3. Timing : not strict. Mostly people hang arnd till 7 pm. 4. Large area so wear comfy dress and shoes. Easy to know abt palace. No fleecing people very nice. 5. Parking in front of main gate. No separate charge. 6. Enjoy the beauty of the place. 7. Raja Surajmal created a marvel in 2k fountains. Do enjoy the palacecand a 7 foot Hanumanji mandir. Regards

We came here looking for Lohgarh fort and then realised that this musuem was a part of the fort. The entry charges are nominal and the visiting hours are till 8 in the evening. The lower part consists of art work and engravings done on stones where as the upper portion has incredible weapons used in battles in the medieval period by the Jat rulers. It also consists of paintings, local and chinese art and craft found in Bharatpur. The upper portion of the museum also shows the paintings of the Maharajas of Bharatpur . One can spend good hour here with family. It has been kept quite neat and clean by the managing authority.

The temple is small, but in the serene environment. Excellent place to take a break during a whole day birding. One can easily find tree covered shades for an evening nap.
