The Lion of Belfort is the main tourist attraction in the town. 20min walk the Gare SNCF train station. You need to climb up the hill to have a good view of the lion and the town. If you driving to the destination, parking area are available at the end of the hill and mid-way.

Lac Malsaucy is a beautiful nature park surrounding a lake that has a man made beach. There are pedalos for hire in season. There are ample changing facilities and public toilets. There is a play park for younger children with some pieces of equipment for older kids. There is ample green spaces adjacent to the beach area to picnic. There is a large car parking area at no cost. Also there are cycle paths connecting to Belfort

The priest greeted most people by name. There were many young families with young - but well-behaved - children. The rood screen and pulpit were amazingly beautiful.

nous avons découvert le lieu aux journées du patrimoine 2016, nous n'y avions jamais été. Très intéressant. Nous y sommes retournés quelques temps plus tard pour une conférence sur la nécessité de la nuit, très intéressante aussi. Avec des astronomes aguéris, nous pouvons nous imaginer le ciel avec les étoiles dans la salle du dome, vraiment super intéressant

Arrived after a long day in the office - the place is nicely laid out - there is Seating at the bar and also tables - they have good selection of drinks and the service was very good talking us through the many options - I opted for a Kilkenny and it was poured perfectly - the atmosphere in the bar was great and overall I would fully recommend a visit. The beer is good and a great place to catch up in an nice surroundings. Would definitely go again.

Nachts ist der Platz toll erleuchtet. Die Farben der Lichte wechseln sich ab, man sieht die Zitadelle und kann die Atmosphäre aus einem Strassencafe, Restaurant etc. genießen.

Vanaf de Citadel van Belfort rijdt een toeristentreintje dat je de belangrijkste plekken laat zien. Dat is fijn. Je kunt ervoor kiezen het hele rondje te rijden €6,- voor een volwassene) en dan stap je uit op het beginpunt maar wij kozen ervoor ons op de andere halte af te laten zetten, beneden op een parkeerplaats. Dan hoef je niet naar beneden te lopen, je bent vlak bij de Place des Armes, je hebt op dat punt een uitstekend uitzicht op de leeuw en je betaalt een gereduceerd tarief (€4,-) dus dat heeft veel voordelen.
