This is a beautiful park just inside the m25.
Unfortunately it has been spoilt by the unnecessary addition of go ape and the decision to build a large housing development.
The animal sanctuary cafe is worth going to. It also helps pay for the care of our wildlife, that has been hurt or is sick.

Been meaning to visit for a while. Much more interesting than I expected. Lots of local items and artifacts many from 20th Century and earlier. Great information features and photos. Very interesting on WW2 Bombing in Barnet. And its local and easy to find just off the High Street. Well worth a visit with kids. They will have questions. I was impressed with the Publications and Books available. This is a wonderful Barnet institution. Enthusiastic volunteers.

Small friendly theatre with great variety of productions. We love the cinema evenings. So much more reasonably priced than other places. Lovely cafe, hot food available at lunchtime and before some evening events Bar too!

If you like the mosquito and de Havilland aircraft this is a brilliant place to go it is a museum in progress so at the moment there is nothing flash about it probably don't want to go when it's raining or cold having said that I certainly will be going back again you can see them working on planes loads of engines and commercial planes see website for more details

on our quest to visit somewhere different every weekend,my husband found this wonderful place on the interenet,as we both had a very stressful week we needed somewhere tranquil and beautiful,this placewas just perfect.lovely Gardens and café.will reyrn when its warmer!

Excellent comfy helicopter, everyone gets a view of some sorts. Ask in advance to get the pilot seat!!
Very short flight, along the river, could easily have stayed up a lot longer. Good value when bought through a voucher site!

We’ve lived in Stanmore for thirty years and grew up looking through the fence at Bentley priory mansion so visiting it was great. The building is magnificent with ornate wooden staircases and spectacular stained glass windows. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave us an information sheets and map to help us find our way around. Our five year old enjoyed learning about the role of the spitfires and hurricanes aircraft. The museum is very interactive with vintage telephones to listen to conversations of times gone by. The ballroom has a small cockpit plane for the kids to explore complete with helmet and jacket. We loved learning about the role Bentley priory played during the war. The video we watched was very informative and interactive. The grounds look amazing, we look forward to exploring them in the warmer months. We enjoyed a hot cup of tea in the beautiful cafe which over looks the Gardens. I would recommend buying the yearly membership if you’re planning on more than one visit. Great day out and very educational.

I attended my god child's bday party with my two kids. The kids had so much fun apart from a watcher who was telling my 4. Year old not to walk on the trampoline because its not allowed while letting other children walk. Some staff are friendly and some are not

Beautiful walks through lovely trees and shrubs
Lovely well maintained walled garden
Overall a very nice place to visit to observe and chill out
It’s free To visit the Gardens, however the car park operates a Pay and Display £2.50 all day Good value
The site offers a cafe area, but I’m unable to make a comment as I didn’t visit the cafe
Yes, I would highly recommend a visit
My other comment would be that the footpaths around the garden are suitable for disabled persons

So 30 of us came to Mops and brooms in Borehamwood - second time we eat as a group at this gastro bub - Xmas festive set menu with 4 choices for starters mains Deserts - all food excellent - what let them down was inconsistent service - friendly but disorganised - spoiled the evening a bit - saving grace was the quality of the food
