The 10 Best Things to do in Bali, Indonesia

November 12, 2021 Chanda Heide

Bali is a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy. Soak up the sun on a stretch of fine white sand, or commune with the tropical creatures as you dive along coral ridges or the colorful wreck of a WWII war ship. On shore, the lush jungle shelters stone temples and mischievous monkeys. The “artistic capital” of Ubud is the perfect place to see a cultural dance performance, take a batik or silver-smithing workshop, or invigorate your mind and body in a yoga class.

This place has recently been scrolling in social media and yes it is worth the visit just for the view. Its located in nusa penida which is 40 min boat ride from the main coast of bali. Nusa penida is a small island with very small roads and i would recommend to book with a tour guide if you dont know much about the place. If you are an adventure seeker you can rent out a motorbike and explore the island urself. One of the best view is the view from top of Kelingking beach, you can also hike down the cliff where you can experience the white sandy beach ( hiking up will be hardwork). Over all worth a visit

This market opens at 6pm, there was a review saying it’s airconditioned, but this is open air market. Has plenty of halal food stalls to chose from. There are satay, fried items like banana, samosa, curry puff, taro. Then there’s bakso, chicken noodles, murtabak, roppongi (has trip advisor certificate of excellence!) smoothies, shaved ice with fruits during my visit. The price is so so so reasonable, I went two nights here. Highly recommend for local halal food.
