My beautiful daughter surprised me on my visit to the Okanagan with dinner out and tickets to “The Nutcracker” production of this unique theatre company. The weather provided a snow globe effect, and dressed warmly we delighted in this unique experience. I will forever remember it as a highlight of my trip!

Royal York Golf Club

We were truly impressed with this golf course and it was one of the hi-lights of our holiday. We were staying in Salmon Arm, but based on a recommendation, decided to drive down to Armstrong to check out the course...and we were glad we did. We felt welcomed, as we dropped by to book a tee time. it is a beautiful course with good distance between the holes....yet walkable, which is what we like to do. What did we like about the course? Absolutely everything!!....but here are the main points. 1) Fairways and greens are very well maintained 2) The challenge level and the design of the course 3) It is well priced for the type of course and level of play 4) The OWNERS...are awesome

Farmstrong Cider

Farmstrong Cider Company is a family based business in the Okanagan Valley making small batch craft cider on a heritage farm established in 1896. We do not take reservations, first come, first served. We have a full lunch and dinner menu with vegan & gluten free options. We have a large parking lot and are RV friendly. We are family friendly. We do request that parents have their children seated with them and all times. As Farmstrong is a working farm children should not be unattended inside or outside for any reason. For their safety they need to be with their parents at all times. We are closed for the winter season from November 1 to May 1.

The chefs at this place ROCK at what they do! Very high quality food and cider, and reasonable prices. Beautiful location and really great country setting.
