With jpy100 we bought a little stamp booklet for our kids to do tracking and collecting stamps. A well organised museum with interesting demonstration with those wax figures. They look so real in the dim lights! And dont forget to take the prisoner photo sticker, and try the prisoner meal set.

We visited on a sunny day. It's a coastal location, and was very windy. I think there is supposed to be a spectacular view of some coral grass if we had arrived at the right time of the year. Unfortunately, we were not there at the right season. The lighthouse is apparently famous for having appeared in several movies and commercials. It is quite captivating against the blue skies. Made for some nice photos.

Easy to get to on the bus, this is a must see if you are in Abishiri. We were expecting the museum to focus exclusively on the Ainu, but it covers so much more than that with information about all of the northern peoples in the polar regions. The audio guide is one of the best we've used - just enough information to keep you engaged and yet covers all the displays admirably. Absolutely fantastic.

This place is my 4th place i visited in this city and also 3rd museum that i had visited. This place is so unique i say with just ±750 yen you can know about everything. and i so interesting with -20 degrees celcius room. And also dont forget to see this place from the top cause the view from the top is so wonderful. ありがとう

Went to the chipmunk park on a bad weather day. Wasn’t sure if I was able to see them. But quite glad that they didn’t disappoint! Such adorable creatures darting all around. Some daring ones climb onto my lap!
