Casa del Miele

This is a lovely friendly place to visit and buy a gift or treat yourself. As someone who never really ate honey on its own it was quite a revelation to sample a couple and experience the distinct flavours. The chestnut was particularly delicious so that’s what we bought. The range is extensive and can be shipped across Europe.

Spectacular views over both Italy and Switzerland. Great skiing the day after a storm. Highly recommend getting the international lift ticket to let you cross the border and ski down the other side

Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area

An infinite snowy area that begins at 1,524 metres, in Valtournenche, embraces Breuil-Cervinia, rises up to 3,480 metres of Plateau Rosà, touches the 4,000 m peak of Piccolo Cervino, climbes up to 4,478 m to the top of the Cervino. An area where the infinite snow continues on the Swiss side to Zermatt. An area where the snow is the setting of sport, holidays and fun. The tourism vocation of Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche had it’s beginning more than two hundred years ago. Excursionists and academics were the pioneers of a tourism that united sport, scientific study and intellectual exchange. In 1936, a new Breuil-Cervinia was created. The construction of the first cable car was a cutting-edge work of engineering excellence. The Hotel Gran Baita situated at the foot of the slopes, with the cable car departure station annexed to it, anticipates by over half a century the concept of an integral complex for skiing. Breuil-Cervinia became the Queen of the snow. From sport to cinema, politics and commerce, those who count meet here. Innovation, in Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche, is the key word. New ways to practice sport, new ways to enjoy a holiday, new services to allow more free time. The technology is not limited to the rapid lift systems, but also to the territorial fibre optic network that allows the information to be transmitted in real time. Time and space dimensions have changed thanks to the e-skipass, to the keycard and to the hotel reservation system via the internet. 350 thousands web navigators every month visiting the site to check out the webcams, weather reports, lift status and snow conditions. In Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche, collaboration between the operators in the area guarantees guests quality and state of the art solutions.

Great snow sure ski area, based on the Italian side of the Matterhorn and is linked within an area pass with Zermatt, Switzerland. New links are currently either planned or in progress to ensure easy movement around the mountain. I particularly recommend this area for intermediate level skiers, but equally it will appeal to all levels. Apres Ski is more subdued than Austria etc but there are plenty of very good quality bars, restaurants, shops and ski service facilities.

Awesome ski school! Had Luka as my instructor, he is such a cool instructor,he did so many jumps during my lesson! It was amazing and he was quite honestly the best instructor I have ever had!! Started off as a cautious intermediated skier and by the end of our 2 hour lesson I was edging on a high level skier, he gave me the confidence to go faster, and be more dareing on the slopes, by the end of my holiday I was doing easy off piste skiing and off piste jumps. He was so much fun to ski with and very easy to get on with and his 2 recommended runs both became my favourites! We saw him on the slopes later on in the holiday teaching a tiny kid and he had alot of patients so he is good with all ages good. His English was perfect, could underdtand my fast talking without any problems and even knew some English slang! I Will one million percent be requesting him as my instructor the next time I go to cervinia!

My wife and I had private lessons with Andrea. He is an absolutely brilliant instructor. Really patient and very good company. Everything was organised perfectly. He met us at our hotel and when we visited Ride-Em’s office to book further lessons it was made very easy. I can not recommend Ride-Em more highly and in particular Andrea who made a massive improvement to our skiing and really added to our holiday. Thank you.

Ski&snowboard equipment rental service and sale, ski lab, storage, clothing and accessories

Reviewed By 3457alexanders

We went to ski with a group of friends to Cervinia this year and, as some of us travel without skis, the choice of equipment rental place arose as usual. We had a very bad experience with the other rental place in Cervinia called Noleggio Sci di Nicola Corradi: they charged us 35 euros for snowboard and boots that we left for 1 day in their shop and did not use it for this day! Their motivation was that I did not warn them I am not taking the snowboard the next day, however it stayed in their ski shop! The owner was rude and unpleasant. But in Adriano sport we had the best experience. I will be short: 1. The price for renting the equipment is cheaper than in most places in the town. 2. The place is located on the first mountain station (Plan Maison), just after you arrive on the mountain. Very convenient. 3. The owner of the place was very pleasant and gave us the 100% discount for 1 day after we rented skis for 5 days. I use the ski renting places in different locations every year and this is definitely one of the best.
