The 10 Best Things to do Good for Kids in Dingle, Province of Munster

May 7, 2022 Harland Bartelt

Perched on the hem of the Atlantic in Ireland's southwest, charming Dingle looks out over Dingle Bay to the Blasket Islands. Chock full of friendly pubs where live traditional music plays, the Irish-speaking area fills to the brim with tourists on weekends and through summer. Another regular visitor to Dingle's Gulf Stream-warmed waters is Fungi, the dolphin, the town's unofficial mascot. Popular tourist attractions include the beaches, Mount Brandon and Ballydavid and Ballyferriter villages.

My husband and I went on a fantastic private tour with Duriamid from Dingle to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren then returned to Dingle all in one day. We greatly enjoyed the knowledge he shared with us throughout the whole day and the friendly conversation. We loved having the chance to grab sandwiches along the way and enjoy lunch at the Cliffs of Moher. Hands down best lunch view! We also stopped for delicious coffee and the best ice cream near Doolin. It was truly a remarkable day. We would recommend this tour to all family & friends!
