An amazing place where you absolutely have to go during your vacations in Djerba. You'll discover the island through a lot of faboulous rambles with our horses, ponies and camels. What ever you want we have necessarily activities made for you and we can promise you a lot of incredible memories.
When we arrived at the ranch, we received by Morgane a very welcoming person who immediately directed us to our horses. We were then taken on a wonderful ride through Djerba. We got to really see the island in the eyes of a resident. On our way back, we took the beach route so we rode along the beautiful coastline for about an hour. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with very nice horses and people.

Amphitheatre of El Jem is the second largest built by the romans after the "original" in Rome. Built after the conquest of Carthage - a symbol of the Roman power , no doubt - it still stands after so many centuries. Originally it could hold 35000 spectators - gladiators were entertaining the mob , fights were organized here - in the underground there were the holding cells for animals and gladiators alike- you can take a walk through the dark tunnels - that are mostly closed today but you can have an idea about how it was during its time of glory. Today you need to pay a small entrance fee so you can wander around and be impressed by how the ancient engineers have build this amazing structure. On a guided tour you will learn a lot about the history of the place and its importance in the roman times after the fall of mighty Carthage. Recently was the scenery for Ridley Scott's master piece movie the "Gladiator" and periodically they have concerts inside the old ruins. Overall a great experience I recommend you go and check it out for yourself when you are in Tunisia, for sure it is one of those must see places.

Spectacular Roman mosaics are the high point of this museum.
This museum is located in an 18th century royal palace. So many Roman mosaics and Statues. The mosaics are beautiful and a must see. There is a showcase with the bullet holes from the 2015 terrorist attack. Highly recommend this Museum.

The home of Baron Rodolphe d'Erlanger, who was responsible for the blue and white color scheme of the town.
Le Palais du Baron D'Erlanger is an absolute gem and worth visiting. The outside architecture is simple and clean, with the emblematic white and blue color scheme of Sidi Bou Said, while the interior is beautifully luxuriant. The eye-catching plasterwork and amazing views over the sea is a heath taking mix. The views are among the best ever.

The largest desert in the world, extending between 800 and 1,200 miles and at least 3,000 miles from east to west, covers one-fourth the area of Africa including the lands of Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia and Egypt.
The 2 day sahara explorer is well worth the money. We woke up around 4:30 am and the coach came to pick us up at 5am. We travelled through the night to our destinations. The following is in order of the trip. Amphitheater of El Jem Underground house of the local people Camel ride into the desert for 1 hour (90 pounds for the camel ride and horse and carriage ride, well worth it) Overnight stay at a hotel Saltwater lake with sunrise 4x4 SUV ride to the star wars film set in the desert Horse and carriage ride to a date plantation (price included with camel ride) Great Mosque of Kairouan The tour guide will give you a lot of information about tunisia, so much that it will be hard to sleep throughout the journey. No one forces you to buy products.

The Sahara was the most interesting experience - the true highlight of the Tunisian holliday. From Tozeur we got into jeeps - modified Toyota Land Cruisers- and we went to the Oasis/Waterfall of Chebika at the foothills of the Atlas mountains. From the Oasis we took the old rout of the Paris-Dakar rally through the sandy desert of Tunisia - you have to do it - it is amazing the scenery is like a movie set in its own and the driving skill shown by the drivers will take the experience to a whole new level - over the dunes - mitigating steep slopes , driving on the side of the hills - where normal vehicles will just tip over but not these and finally stopping on top of a dune from where you can enjoy the sunset in the Sahara and below you see the set of the Star Wars movie - used in the Phantom Menace. From there we drove back to a hotel for the nights rest - only to wake up very early in the morning to catch the sun rising over Chott el Djerid - just brilliant. From there a short ride to the city of Douz where we took a 45 min camel ride in the desert. To see, feel and smell the desert. Overall a great experience - I recommend you take the Sahara trip , is definitely the highlight of any Tunisian holiday. Was for me at least.

This is a very amazing place. It is a desert but instead of sand you walk on salt! If you have the opportunity to be there at sunrise time the view is even more shocking.

As we went along with The Soul of Sahara team and its guide Ahmed, we were full of surprise to discover this part of Sahara which is a ravishingly beautiful canyon, Nature is so full of surprises and awesomeness.
