We would like to thank the team at Ivanhoe wines for making us feel so welcome our first time we were taken care of by sommelier Matt who was very knowledgeable and personable also brilliant with our doggie Archie, we became members! Second time Tracey owner/manger welcome us and we were so well looked after by Kirsty Paula and Nathalie and all loved Archie!! Ivanhoe will always be a great reason to come back to the Hunter Valley!!

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Taking in panoramic views of the coast from Bondi Beach south to Coogee this paved coastal walk is a spectacular way to spend a day out in Sydney. Stop along the way for a swim at different beaches and coves and see a hidden part of the Emerald City. After leaving Bondi beach the walk takes you past Aboriginal rock carvings that marked the boundaries and rights of different Aboriginal clans living in the area. Stop in at Tamarama Beach for a coffee or a quick game of volleyball before continuing on to Bronte Beach and Bronte Baths. From there the path takes you through Waverley Cemetery where you will find the burial plots, crypts and gravestones of some of Sydney's most notorious and colourful identities. The walk continues over the headland where you can stop for a bit of whale-spotting before wending its way through remnant coastal heathland to arrive at Lady McKenzie's baths, Clovelly and the more built-up beach suburb of Coogee. Once at your destination check out the McIver's Women's Baths or take your pick of the fabulous local cafes and restaurants for a well-deserved drink or casual lunch. If you are doing a round trip, you should allow 2.5 to 3 hours but if you only want to go one way, Coogee is well-serviced by buses back to Sydney or Bondi. Sadly the walk is not accessible the whole way, but wheelchairs and prams can do the Bondi to Bronte segment easily.

We have been travelling around in Australia for 9 weeks with friends from Austria and Switzerland. Today we visited the Sydney Opera House at 11:15am. The guides name was Bella. Lovely energetic young lady! It was the BEST, and only tour in the entire of Australia that my friends understood every word of the places she took us to today. Wonderful and very articulate when she speaks. Clear concise and entertaining. It was exactly one hour tour with fantastic stories, great photo opportunities, brilliant setup of lights for the illusionist and the “bumping out” and maintenance of the Joan Sutherland Theatre! Finally tour concluding with a happy ending in the Utzon Room. The building truly is remarkable inside and out with fantastic people working. Must see for all. We are glad we did this and took our friends here today! Do the tour!

A nice walk through the bush and along the cliffs from Manly Bay to Shelly Beach with lots of great outlooks along the way. Some areas require stabile footing due to rocks. Glad we wore trail running shoes. And we did this all in torrential rains. Still loved it.

There is so much to see here! I had the pleasure of visiting on my birthday. Its $1 entry and you are requested to make a donation to the Zoo as you enter. You must pre-book to get the deal. Parking as always in SYDNEY is expensive but its great to park with no stress and stay hours without thinking about it - its a flat fee for the day. We went throughout the entire park from 10 until around 3pm. A particular highlight was the Bird show and how well the ladies explained the birds and interacted with the crowds... and the views across Sydney when you watch the Giraffes. We saw all the other animals and finsihed with the Seals show at 2pm, make sure you go there as again its so professional. The ZOO is clean!! We finsihed by taking the cable car from bottom to top then exit through the main entrance. Such a great day out and you shouldnt leave Sydney without the visit.

Fitzroy falls, an 81-metre waterfall was truly spectacular with its magnificent gorges. It offers the region’s local Aboriginal culture, wildlife and birdwatching, in the Southern Highlands. This massive park is a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. The Rainforest and moist eucalyptus forest support wombats, swamp wallabies, gliders, bush rats and long-nosed potoroos. Birdwatchers can see satin bowerbirds, green catbirds and lyrebirds while eagles and falcons hover overhead. The visitors centre has a lot of stuff to buy. Its pretty windy and cold, so its advisable to wear warm clothing. The nature walk trails ae well maintained and are not very tiresome.

This trek is memorable to me as I have done the whole plan on my own with help from TripAdvisor, different social media and maps.me ( this app works without internet with GPS ON). I started my journey on a sunny day from Mt. Victoria at 723 hrs and reached Katoomba at 925 hrs by train. I took a bus just outside the Katoomba station and reached Scenic World at 945 hrs, from here I set my trekking for Blue Mountain (Dardanelles Pass walking track). The altitude of the place is 3000 feet, indicated in my watch. I opened the map and started following Prince Henry Cliff Walk. On the way to eco-point, touched Katoomba cascades to see the beautiful Katoomba falls, Cliff viewpoint for siting blue mountain and valley waves, sky East station to see the giant stairway, Lady Darley’s lookout to see the amazing three sisters before reaching the echo point. The three sisters view from eco-point is gorgeous. Decided to take three sisters walking track to explore the three sisters. Descending through the Giant Stairway, way down over 900 stairs, enter a dense canopy of magnificent coachwood. From this point, the left side is the base point of the scenic world and the right side goes to Leura forest through Dardanelles Pass walking track . The altitude of this place is 2200 feet. The one thing is in my mind that again I need to climb up almost a thousand feet. It started approaching along the Dardanelles path through this beautiful Leura forest. I was searching some company, lucky to get some people from Korea, got confidence to go ahead through this path. Because of maps.me, I knew that I will not lost inside the forest. The path is slowly going up as usual, sometimes it is flat also. But after some point of time, the path is going up and up through this awesome Laura forest. After one hour 15 minutes walk, would reach the junction of Prince Henry cliff walk. As I have decided not to go back to the echo point, so I took an exit from there and reached the main road. I took the main road and reached Katoomba rail station.

A big stretch of sands offering multiple possibilities. You can just sit and relax, draw figures and sketches in the wet sand area with kids, hire and go on quad biking in the dunes, hire 'sun-board' and have the dry surfing fun or can just jump into the waters - the waves are enticing.
