VinKari Safari

In New England there are very few warm, dry, safe, clean, educational and fun places to bring young children to on a typical fall, winter, or spring day. Even in recent summers, New England weather and the abnormal amounts of rainfall have deprived children of suitable places to play. VinKari Safari is an innovative children's indoor playground that was designed and developed to meet the needs of the community and to exceed the expectations of both children and their parents. As parents, we were frustrated by venues that were not open to the general public in all four seasons for dropping in to play and by play places that we felt were too small for our children to exert a healthy amount of energy. The few play spaces that were available allowed teenagers to mingle with our toddlers, weren't clean, or lost our child's attention too quickly. Additionally, when it came to hosting birthday parties or other celebrations, New England weather simply could not be relied on. Furthermore, having dozens of children and parents at our home felt hectic and we hardly enjoyed the event worrying about the needs of all of our guests. By the end of our special day we didn't have many pictures, we missed many of the laughs and opportunities to connect with long time friends and family we had not seen recently, and we were left with the daunting duty of cleaning up the party. VinKari Safari is family owned and operated. We are grateful parents, first and foremost, with backgrounds in child care, psychology, and corporate catering events. We are mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, and we are grandmothers and grandfathers as well. We have an ethnically diverse cultural heritage with a profound understanding of special needs too. Most importantly, we are your hosts and we, along with our children, Vincent and Karina, invite you to come play and have a wicked wild fun time at our safari themed children's indoor playground.

Tried this for the first time with my sons and grandsons. What hoot! This puts you smack dab in the middle of a video game. You see everything around you and using play guns like in a video game, you go around protecting everyone from Zombies, Robots, etc.. It seems completely real even though you know you are in a bare room which you saw before putting on your headset. One game simulates walking on floating squares and if you are scared of heights, your hands start sweating. Just remind yourself that you know that it’s not real. Everyone we had from ages 14 - 67 enjoyed their time. Can’t wait to do it again.

Escapology Tewksbury

Tewksbury's first real life escape game! Come and play one of our great games in a private team of 3-6 players. Search carefully for clues, solve the puzzles, unlock the locks and escape to freedom within 60 minutes!

This was my first time at Escapology but my second time doing an escape room. Escapology was a lot of fun, the design of the rooms was more immersive than my previous experience. We got out with some time to spare along with one hint remaining, so not too difficult, but not too easy. Would definitely come back for another room!

Lexington Green

Site of the first battle between the Minutemen and the Redcoats during the Revolutionary War.

Reviewed By SneakinDeacon - Christiansburg, United States

Our Bus Tour of New England stopped here and were were able to visit the site where the American Patriots first faced off with the British Red Coats. Our tour group had the service of a local guide who explained just what happened here in 1775, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The guide also pointed out the houses and building that were standing at the time of the skirmish. The actual Lexington Green is an open park that has the Minuteman Statue standing at one end. At the other is a Monument where the remains of those patriots who were killed are buried. Located adjacent to the Green is Buckman Tavern, which dates back to 1709 and is where the Lexington Minutemen assembled on April 19, 1775 before confronting the Red Coats. The Lexington Green and surrounding area is a must stop for anyone who enjoys history.

Minuteman National Park - Old North Bridge

The "shot heard round the world," which signaled the start of the Revolutionary War, was fired from this spot.

Reviewed By KarenV87 - Tampa, United States

This was the highlight of our visit to Concord. The origination of the phrase "the shot heard round the world" from the Concord Hymn as told by Ralph Waldo Emerson's family who lived in the house known as the Old Manse. You can see the house and the bridge as you enter the site. There's also a grave of the British soldiers who died in the battle. There is a verse from James Russell Lowell's poem "Lines" inscribed in the memorial plaque. It gave me chills reading the following: They came three thousand miles and died, to keep the past upon its throne: Unheard, beyond the ocean tide, their English Mother made her moan. There is also a famous statue called "The Minute Man" and a memorial obelisk at the foot of the North Bridge. You'll also see lots of wildlife. We had our first chipmunk sighting on the wall near the grave of the British soldiers. They are so cute! You might even see a wild turkey. It's just a great place to visit for nature or history.

Hancock-Clarke House

The home of Lexington's first two ministers and the location where John Hancock and Sam Adams were staying on April 18, 1775. Paul Revere stopped here on his famous "Midnight Ride" to warn Hancock and Adams that British troops had left Boston.
