Soarin'

Soarin' is my favorite ride in EPCOT, and based on the excitement of guests coming off the ride, it seems to be a favorite of everyone. I watched as kids get off the ride and couldn't contain their excitement. Adults likewise were jabbering about their favorite scenes. I get motion sickness easily and cannot ride many of the rides at theme parks, but EPCOT does not bother me in the least. It is smooth and clear, so I just look straight ahead and I am fine. Hint: for the best view, ask the cast member if you can wait for the "top center" row, which is row 1 of gate B. You get a nice crisp view without the distraction of dangling legs. Another hint: If you have a larger backpack, just leave it in the marked off spaces at the end of the row rather than trying to fit it under the seat.

Disclaimer -- I did not ride this ride as I didn't want to be sick the rest of the day. But my wife and boys (9 and 10) rode it. They LOVED it. This was probably their favorite ride at DHS and it was a toss up between this ride, Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) and Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) as to their favorite ride. I advise getting a Fast Pass as the lines can grow quickly to two hours or more.

This is a great attraction at Hollywood Studios in Orlando,Florida. I would suggest getting a Fast Pass since the line can easily be over an hour I've been on this ride dozens of times, and I love the free-fall experience. While you are on the ride, there is a show happening at the same time - so if people are sitting in front of you with their hands in the air, you will miss some of the show. This attraction is similar to Guardians of the Galaxy in the California Adventure in Anaheim, California. This is one of my favorite rides/attractions at Disney. This attraction is right next to Rock-N-Roll roller-coaster, another must-see attraction. There is also a great place to get ice cream near this attraction.

A 4D show featuring the main Disney characters. Follow Donald Duck as he interacts with other Disney characters such as Aladdin and Jasmin, samba and Lumiere and sing along to all the classic Disney songs. A great way to avoid the inevitable showers in Florida.

I love that this ride is interactive - it's the only one I know of in Walt Disney World! Riders use laser guns to shoot at targets as the cars move swiftly through a colorful space world with zooming aliens. There is a joy stick between the two riders which can be used to twirl the car around to get more movement, find more targets, and score more points. This is a ride that I could enjoy over and over again without it become monotonous. From small kids to senior citizens, everyone coming off this ride was bubbling over with excitement. Hint: Have your camera ready after you disembark from the ride, because your photo will appear on a monitor in the hallway as you walk toward the exit. We just snapped a photo of the photo monitor as we walked by and we have a nice memento of our visit.

The animatronic show depicting all US Presidents is a great display. First shown at the 1964 worlds fair, it was the first animatronic device that stood up from a sitting position. Very advanced for its day! I enjoyed the summary of the presidency from the current sitting President- Trump this time and Obama the last time I visited.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Reviewed By C0urtenayO - Palm Harbor, United States

This is one of our favorite rides because it’s a fun, and little bit exciting, boat ride. We snaked along in a social distancing line, and only waited 30 minutes. As we walked to the boat, we saw things we didn’t remember from the last time, and it’s been a few years. We were in the front of our boat, and one other party (4) was behind us. On the ride, we had one drop in the beginning and got splashed a tiny bit. We thought we’d have 2 drops, but that was the only one. Capt. Jack Sparrow is now mentioned in the script, and can be seen on the ride. The auction has charged - the red head is now a pirate! And an English couple is in the cue for auctioning. The ride is too short. We wanted it to go on and on, but it ended within five minutes. So much fun!
