I really enjoyed the tour of this traditional inn. The thoughtful touches in each room and the architecture and craftsmanship is well worth a visit. Right in the heart of Ito, on a charming historic street and the river, the location is well worth a stop.

the onsen is reachable by private shuttle from the station izu kogen. at the bus-stop, just call their number, and you will be picked up for free. The onsen is a pleasure as it is sea-side and has infinity-pool out to the ocean. food is ok, not superb, but plenty of choices. The staff is very helpful and super-friendly. Tatoos are ok!
