Squire Boone, American pioneer and legend, discovered the caverns in 1790 and soon built a thriving settlement centered around Boone's Mill, which is still operating today. Rich in history and geological wonders, guests to the Caverns will leave with plans to visit again and again. Along with the cave tour and Historic Boone's Mill, activities at the Caverns include: Indiana's Largest Rock Shop and Gem-Mining Sluice, the Soap Shop, Hannah Boone's Candle Shop, homemade sweets and savory lunch options at the kitchen and a nature trail to simply take some time out. This is a good place to shop for the man cave. If you are from my generation, I'm retired, get ready for a walk down memory lane. Men will definitely not mind antiquing with the wife if you come here. If you are in Corydon, be sure to check it out.

I was visiting in Louisville, Ky. with my Sister when she said "Let's go to Corydon, Indiana. We visited everything that was open Saturday on the old town square finishing up at Butt Drugs. After enjoying a fully packed cup of ice cream at the soda fountain I began shopping their souvenirs. The store has many things to choose from with their name on it. You need to at least purchase a coffee mug, it WILL be the talk of your office coffee break or desk. This is a real working pharmacy. Real smart looking inside, you must visit this old town and drug store.

This review is mostly my answer to the bad reviews posted from people who thought you were gonna win every time you enter a casino.....spoiler alert, YOU DON'T. That being said, The hotel is very nice and I have found it be always be very clean. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It is a bit of a walk to the casino but the indoor shuttle runs non-stop. I personally have never waited more than 5 minutes. This service is free and cuts your walk to just a handful of steps. The casino offers many of the newer games and all the table games you would expect. I go about 6 times a year and I lose some and win some. Just like every casino I visit. Btw...get a player rewards card. The comps are better than any local area casino. I am hardly a high-roller and I have NEVER paid for a weeknight room. The free slotplay comps are great as well. I'm gonna post a recent picture of a win because who takes pictures of losing. Lol :)
