We did the cooking course with latifa. She showed us around in the market where we bought all ingredients and spices. Then we made some zalouk. A nice chicken tajine. And a (new to us) apple cake. She sent us the recepies as well as a recepi for moroccan tea. She was very nice to us. Defenitely would recommend

Khadija and Hussein welcomed our group of 6 (3 cooks, 3 diners) into their tidy, well organised home and walked us through preparing a wonderful 3 course meal that included a warm salad, tajine, bread, briouat and fruit. They were warm and friendly and shared their deep knowledge of Moroccan cuisine and culture. One of the highlights of our trip and an unreserved recommendation.

My wife and I booked Aziz from the UK to transfer us from Marrakech Airport to Essaouira and week later to transfer us to Kasbah Bab Ourika and from thence, a few days later, back to Marrakech Airport. I was in Essaouira last week as part of a two week trip to Morocco. I love jewelry and it was so interesting to watch the artisians work and to understand better what is takes to make quality silver jewelry. My experience with the people working there was very memorable....I actually had another piece of silver jewelry I had purchased elsewhere in the country which was not made very well. My sweet sales person offered to have one of the silversmiths work on trying to fix it and they did that for me...no charge. We all had hugs afterward and it was a reminder of the general spirit of the Moroccon people And I love the earring and bracelet I purchaed at this shop. Don't miss it! And what a beautiful town.
