Such a beautiful fresh water lake, only the depth changes the colour, so turquoise in the shallows. Try cleaning your jewellery in the sand. I have cleaned my watch and watch face many times, that tells you how soft the sand is. So pure.

Noosa National Park

Reviewed By sundaysap - Sydney, Australia

While visiting Noosa twice last year in January and June I did a lot of bushwalking through their pristine National Park. We have quite a few National Parks here in NSW but none of them compare to this stunning treasure. They were updating the walkways into the National Park when I was there in June last year, but I personally found their walkways were well maintained when I was there previously in January 2018. There is wheel chair access for the disabled and also well paved walking track for families with young children with prams and also the elderly. The best part of this pristine National Park walk are the beaches you come across on your way up which are Tea Tree Bay, Granite Bay and further into the National Park (depends on your fitness level) is the beautiful Alexandria Bay. And before you venture into this beautiful National Park make sure you stop into the Kiosk located at the information centre within the National Park, they make the best coffee ???? I have tasted in Noosa. Seriously a great pick me up for your long walk up into this pristine treasure. Absolutely loved it.

Under the careful and crafty eyes of our Distillers, Blenders and Bondsmen, millions of litres of Bundaberg Rum are aged to perfection here at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. After protecting and ageing our rums since the 70s, the grand old guardian of the distillery Bondstore #7, has been given new life by being transformed into our immersive Bundaberg Rum Museum. Inside, you’ll walk through a series of 75,000 litre American White Oak Vats – the very same vats which have matured hundreds of thousands of litres of rum (after being emptied and rebuilt of course). Inside these vats live a sensory experience where you can see, touch and smell your way through our rich history in creating Australia’s Favourite Rum – Bundaberg Rum. Please ensure that you arrive at least 20-30 mins early for your tour, especially for the last tour of the day and during school holiday periods. Awesome tour and well worth the price. Our party of three adults thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour by Bobbi - very knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyed her humour :) Definitely an asset to the team and added to the great Aussie vibe. Samples were great inspiration to encourage purchases via the giftshop. Very happy with our outing! Definitely advise utilising a taxi to thoroughly enjoy the samples!

What a marvelous and memorable experience! Our holidays in Whitsundays have provided us with ultimate satisfactions, for which we visited Great Barrier Reefs, as well as Whitsunday Islands in one trip. With Great Barrier Reefs as 1 of the 7 Natrue Wonders in the world, and Whiteheaven Beach ranked among the top 10 beaches of our planet, holiday in Whitsundays is highly recommended by me. Regarding how to organize the trips, I wish I could offer some assistance: Transport --- A. Flight: There are airports in Proserpine, and Hamilton Island. B. Train: Spirit of Queensland running between Brisbane to Cairns along the Queensland coast, stop at Proserpine. C. Cars: Driving to Airlie Beach. Accommodation --- A. Airlie Beach: As the departure point of many Day tours, it is a pretty Seaside Resort Town with beaches, parkland and many shops. Great for families. B. Hamilton Island: Served with an Airport, a wildlife park, shops, and as the pickup point of Day tours, this beautiful island is most favorable among young adults. C. Daydream Island: With regular ferry services to both Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach, it is gaining popularity due to its heavenly beautiful settings. With a living coral pond and a Aquarium, Daydream Island is perfect for family with kids. D. Taking a multi-days tour on one of the tall ships for sensational exploring experiences. E. Hayman island, etc,: if it will not be your first trip to the region. Hope you could enjoy your holidays just like we have had.

If you are escaping the colder climates of Australia and beyond, this beach will be all you need to feel fantastic. Beautiful clean sand, gorgeous rolling surf, superb sunrises and moonrises, all patrolled by Australia’s famous surf life savers. Ideal for romantic strolls along the beach. Don’t forget to swim between the red and yellow flags, and bring your sunscreen and hat. Who says there is nothing to do? Just enjoy the world class beach and stunning vistas.
