Tianjin ([tʰjɛ́n.tɕín] ( listen)), formerly known in English as Tientsin, is a metropolis in northern coastal Mainland China and one of the four national central cities of the country, with a total population of 15,469,500, and is also the world's 6th-most populous city proper. Free entry, just like all Chinese museums as far as I know. Not a big museum but plenty of treasures to appreciate and learn about background. If you come on a right day, there are guides around to explain the history and stories surround the exhibition items. The place is always quiet, unless it's during the public holiday period.
