Museo de Historia Natural

Reviewed By GlobalGypsy_13 - San Diego, United States

This local museum gives a good historical introduction to Baja California and considers some challenges, such as water, within a world-wide context. In addition to traditional cultural displays including the woman donor there aare many video stations. There is no gift shop or cafe, but the plaza in front has shade and trees. Although only several blocks away from the busy harbor, this quiet museum is worth a visit.

Museo de las Misiones de Baja California

The museo does a good job of telling the sad and tragic history of the California missions generally and the mission in Loreto specifically. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Huichol Collection

Great, unique jewelry and art. I bought a ring and beaded mask both at reasonable prices. As for the other reviews, I believe he has two stores. This was right on the main strip and easy to find. Very nice man who educated me on the craft of beading and what they symbold mean. They were making one right there.
