Worst on White Sand Beach #AppleBeachfront Resort, Koh Chang
Reviewed By 763byrongOld, dated and Mouldly. Thos place is such a disaster not even a sewerage rat wouod want to stsy here. As the pictures can attest this is probably the worst place to stay oj the island. The pool is dirty. Broken dirty deck chairs. No wifi. Noisy aircon. No HOT water rubbisglh piled everywhere. Even in reception.... ? Broken wooden walkways dirty and Mouldly bathroom. Greasy bed linen. Checked out promptly and found cheaper and more comfortable accomodation 1 block away. Much better places just a few steps away. The pictures on their hotels. Com agoda and Expedia are old and dated. Noisy kids in the dirty pool. The receptionist is the cleaner as well. Infested with insects mosquitos crickets and ? geckos

Beautiful resort
Reviewed By CBezzerWe were so fortunate to have the first night at the resort all to ourselves. It was the most beautiful room and the beach was right on our doorstep. The beach was great long enough for a short walk and you are able to visit 3 of the other hotels if you wish to eat somewhere different. So many tiny crabs! The food at the resort is really good and although on a small breakfast menus everything we had was really nice. The price for food and beverages is quite high but understandable as there is nothing else around. Totally worth the hours and a half speed boat to get to. The hotel helped with organising this and were great both on the mainland helping us park and get to the jetty and collecting us at the hotel. Totally recommend a visit.

A good spot to stay
Reviewed By AndyGuy74We spent 5 nights here, very clean and tidy place to stay. Pool area is very chilled out and great after a hot day on the island. Breakfast is good and has Thai and western options, don’t be fussy tho as it’s buffet and it changes every day. They have motorcycle for hire at a good price and the bikes are in good working order, they also have pushbikes that are free to use, these are not is as good working order they are usable but do need some attention. I would not recommend if you have kids or tho they are welcome here there is not a lot for them to do. It’s well positioned on the island and they offer a free shuttle to get you over the mountain to white sands. We would stay here again.

The Resort is a beautiful boutique hotel set in the fascinating scenery of the green mountains. There are 3 houses with 7 double rooms within a wonderful tropical garden. It is an ideal place for quiet and relaxing holidays. The resort lies between the beautiful beaches of White Sand and Chai-Chet. Wireless internet is available free of charge. It is only a 200 m walk to the sea and 1.5 km to the main tourist place of Koh Chang, White Sand Beach. Some small restaurants and shops are nearby. The ferry passage from the continent inclusive transfer to the resort lasts ca. 45 minutes. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished and have a bathroom with shower, WC, air-condition, minibar, safe and SAT-TV. Board: European breakfast

The beds are comfortable & you have everything you need in the room. There is a great area outsode to relax or chat woth the owners & other guests. Lakchai resort is a new resort on the beautiful Klong Kloi beach on Koh Chang island in Trat province, Thailand. All of our bungalows are brand new and come with a large comfortable double bed, fan, table/desk, bed side table, clothes hangers and a large ensuite bathroom with hot water. Our bungalows are always kept spotlessly clean. We are also able to arrange a number of activities including Diving, snorkelling, private boat trips, jungle trekking and onward travel, there is also a massage school close to us if you are interested in learning traditional thai massage. We are situated just 1 minute 30 second walk from Klong Kloi beach and our bar area sits right next to the lagoon and we have stunning views of the surrounding mountains and jungle. While the area here is quite quiet there is still plenty of places for food and entertainment, we have everything here to make a perfect holiday on a tropical island.

Reviewed By 401lyndacWe booked for three nights but ended up staying for seventeen. we had a lovely warm welcome from Dang and Zac and really enjoyed their company sitting beside the lake each evening. The bungalow was spotless with a nice hammock on the balcony. Zac's Sunday roast was amazing. The bungalows are situated a few minutes walk from the beach with lots of lovely places to eat. We will be back. Thank you Zac and Dang.

The perfect island getaway!

The property is situated on a secluded, palm tree lined beach with crystal clear water and includes all the resort must-haves for a tropical island getaway. Featuring villa-style accommodation, we stayed for 2 nights in one of Rest Sea’s luxe-private pool villas. Spacious and beautifully decorated, each villa is meticulously clean. Mini-bar snacks are provided daily and the service of the staff was faultless! The staff were helpful and extremely friendly during our entire stay. The beachside pool is accessible 24 hours a day and the resort also provides kayaks and paddle boards for guests to use free of charge which is a lovely touch. I especially enjoyed the water hammocks and beach cabanas during the day, which are unique to the resort and give you the perfect chance to relax and unwind. The on-site restaurant provides a vast array of dishes including salads, traditional Thai dishes and western fare - all of the dishes we sampled were delicious and the daily buffet breakfast was fresh, with cooked to order a-la-carte included. Rest Sea is the ultimate resort for a vacation experience, we didn’t leave the resort the entire 2 days and didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out. Thank you again for such a magical experience! 5 stars all round, we can’t wait to return some day!

Beautiful stay
Reviewed By Mariana_SVSathis lovely family owned hotel and café is located at a small lake on the outskirts of a Trat town. The nature, peacefulness and the care of the owners made us come back to visit for at least a weekend in order to escape the Bangkok lockdown. The cafe is ideal for a home-business office during the day, cakes are awesome and the rest of the menu equally so. Thanks again, we will be back.

Reviewed By John CThis was magical. The room is the biggest I have ever stayed in in my life. The beach is about 3 miles long with only three top resorts on it. 5he pool bar has great cocktails. The food that comes out of shambala kitchen top notch. You have a 20 m walk past the pool to the beach. The views of the sunset are wonderful. There is a washing machine and cooking facilities and a very quiet ac unit. Seriously, no complaints.
