Tried to milk us for additional fees before we even landed in Florence
Reviewed By LgwlgwWe had a terrible delayed flight (5+ hours after scheduled departure) and WhatsApped the accom to let them know we were going to be late. This pushed our check in time to past their 8pm cut off, so we started getting messages asking us to confirm we'd pay 20EURO per hour we were going to be late. This was at odds with what was on their Booking.com page, which said a 1 off fee after 8pm check in. Before we'd even queried this, Booking.com were ringing us saying the accom had asked them to step in and contact us- we found this pretty unwelcoming, and didn't want the hassle so cancelled the booking and found a fun, chilled out hostel instead with 24 hour check in. Didn't help that they changed the name of it after we booked it, we thought it was a hotel when we booked and turns out it was some rooms in an apartment block hence all this trouble.

Reviewed By danijelkirNice small good price rating hotel close to the center. About 30 minutes walking to center, close to the shops and restaurants. Breakfasts is good, they have also a private parking. The rooms are big, only AC are very old. You can rent also a skiro for visit Firenze.

Dream palace in Florence
Reviewed By jdominixThis place is a great example of how you can put (small) important things together to create an unforgettable experience. The hotel has about 7 rooms and is therefore being managed by a small staff 5-8 people). The owner of the residence also helps out on the premise, I guess that is why the quality is so high :). The staff was so kind, anything you needed you could just ask and they would take care of it with a smile. And their English is great, that is very important. Some examples: - we woke up half an hour after breakfast closing time because of the good beds and they still kept the breakfast ready for us - we ordered JustEat food and they brought it to our room - they allowed us to use their washing machine - we were sitting by the pool and they came to ask if they could tidy our room, they wouldn’t have to ask but it is just very nice The facilities available were very complete, nicely cleaned and free to use: - the water tap with sparkling, cold and warm water - we could use their dishes and cutleries and whatever we wanted if we brought own food - microwave available - amazing pool to cool down, it was a bit deep 1.6meter (which I like a lot) - big garden in which you could pick your own spot where you’d like to hang out, have breakfast / lunch - pool towels which we could change anytime we’d like (sometimes it is very nice) - espresso machine with cups to use The rooms were big, beautiful, clean, and complete: - the room had 2 tv’s, the one in the living room had Netflix on it, the one in the sleeping room had HDMI available - mini bar with (not too expensive) beverages - a lot of space - very nice shampoo (please tell me the brand because I forgot to ask) - good airconditioning A review is never complete without some points of improvement: - sometimes the water pressure in the shower in the room drops (it gets a few degrees colder or warmer for two seconds) - some better lighting in the backyard at night would make it even more amazing - the hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the center, some rental bikes would be very nice - the wifi coverage is good but the speed could be improved (although Netflix did work)

Reviewed By Jasmine RNot recommended place, old building, at breakfast you are checked on what you eat, little variety of food, the only good thing is the proximity to the center, a man at the reception, in front of the breakfast room, was very rude, he looked at what my husband and I ate to check on us.

Reviewed By R4259TSlisakVery unprofessional and bad attitude! We arrived and they collected payment and city tax in cash, then informed us our room had been supposedly upgraded. We inquired, how is that possible since we booked the only one with balcony and river view. She tells us that, oh, that room is not available due to construction. I have a bigger one for you on other side of river. We asked if it had balcony with river view. She tells us it does not. We agreed to look at it. We had to haul our luggage with us about 300 meters. The apartment was disgusting and smelled horribly. We told her this wasn’t going to work. She wasn’t happy about it , but did give us our money back after we went back to the office to get our refund. There was no reason she could not have informed us of this before our arrival so that we could have time to make other arrangements. She messaged us a couple times to inquire about our arrival time, so why not mention that our room booked was not available?

Reviewed By 207anxhelakBest place in Florence to spent 4 days. The host was really nice and welcoming. The room was bright and very clean and there was a shared kitchen that we used for the breakfast in the morning with free coffee,tea, fruits and biscuits. I will always choose that place. Highly recommended!

Lovely place close to Florence airport
Reviewed By JuPaBuVery tasty and lovely room with a nice decor, air conditioning and charming atmosphere. The host has been very helpful and friendly, she helped me to book a taxi to the center which is a 15 minute car drive. The place itself is only a few minutes from the airport of Florence.
