For breakfast Actually its kinda disappointing couz there is not much option for breakfast but of course i understand because i also work as a FnB at one of the resort in phangan anyway breakfast isnt a big deal for us couz we really enjoy our stay here! Its a must to visit this beautiful place!

Phangan Rainbow Bungalows, beautiful private bungalows on the beach. We have no dorms, no penniless hangers on, and no tacky triple x pool parties. We are not on the road... sorry, if that's how you roll! Our beach is awesome, located between Thongsala and Hadrin, just a stone's throw from all the action, but not too close! We have beautiful wood bungalows, well built to western standards. With a wonderful garden, on a quiet private beach, it's chilled when you want it, and can be wild when you want it! Our WiFi is commercial grade hotspot installation, and services the complete local area. We maintain top notch security, (which you don't get in many other places), with two pedigree and highly trained protection dogs. They will love you like family. We work hard to provide our guests with a really friendly, family vibe. Excellent value for money - one of the cheapest bungalow operations actually situated right on the beach! Nearly everyone rates our efforts favorably. We are top 3% across the board, out of all properties (650+) on Koh Phangan for price and service quality. Our prices do not change throughout the year.

The rooms were clean, the property was beautiful, and the food from the restaurant was great. Noy also gave us tips and recommendations on where to go which all turned out extremely well. Staying at rainbow bungalows made our trip nothing short of extraordinary! Thank you Noy, for everything. We will be back.

Reviewed By Mary LGood location, quiet and peaceful, a short walk away from Thong Sala. There are a few restaurants nearby and a big MC supermarket. The beach is wonderful but not good for swimming. The simple bungalows with sweeping views of the sea. It features a private beach area and restaurant. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. The staff was super friendly and the property was breathtaking!! A great swimming pool and an amazing beach bar. Good option if you rent a bike and go around the island. The pool and the area itself were almost luxurious (especially for this price!) and extremely clean. The room is spacious and well lighted and the4 balcony feels comfortable and relaxing. Overall, i happy with my stay.

Ein toller sauberer Pool direkt am Strand der mit von liebevoll gestalteten Grün umgeben war lädt zum Entspannen ein. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und super leckeres Frühstück u Essen gleich ums Eck. Die Unterkunft liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage Die Eigentümerin Cycy kümmert sich um alles und gibt auch super Tipps für Restaurants u Bademöglichkeiten. Vielen Dank an die Eigentümer! Fazit: Einfach Top - Hier kann man sich bestens erholen - daran können sich andere Unterkünfte ein Beispiel nehmen!

Beautiful hotel run by unethical management
Reviewed By telepath11Hotel itself is on a beautiful beach and the resort and rooms are very nice. However, the management and service was the worst I experienced on a 4 month trip to Thailand. Example #1: We negotiated a private van with the manager of the hotel for a fixed price. Then, the morning of the trip, we asked whether it would be an issue if two additional people joined us. The management did not respond. We then asked other questions, to which the management did respond. Then, when we went to get on the van later that day, the manager said the price would be approximately 30% more, and that we had to "take it or leave it." We obviously should have been notified of the significant increase in price earlier, as we could have arranged for alternate transportation. Ultimately, the management agreed to a price between what was originally quoted and the high price, but it took another 15-20 minutes of significant haggling and complaining, none of which should have happened. Example #2: Our friend staying at the hotel at the same time as us had negotiated a weekly rate. When she asked for a room cleaning, the management then said it would be another 200 THB per cleaning. Our friend agreed to that, and the staff came by and only swept the floor. She asked for the bed sheets to also be changed, and the management said it would be another 50 THB! Seriously, don't do business with these people! Also, note that check out is at 11 AM, not 12 PM. We asked for a late checkout after getting last-minute notice of this and were initially denied, but again after a lot of haggling were able to squeeze this out of them, even though the hotel was largely empty during covid and there was virtually no chance that our rooms were booked. After these incidents, we purposefully did not eat breakfast at the hotel the morning of our check out because none of us wanted to give another dollar to the owner of this hotel.

This review has been written after giving the host plenty of opportunities to address my complaints and after mediation of Booking.com who gave me a refund. I booked Le Grand Bleu Hotel for 3 nights; upon arrival the staff didn’t know where it was. There are no lifts and had to drag my suitcase upstairs, no one offers to help. Upon checking the room. I immediately saw that the room was not as advertised. Very overpriced and definitely not 4 stars. The room is at a busy road which you don’t see on the picture. All the amenities are below standard for the price you're paying. After talking to the owner, I tried to be reasonable and negotiate a shorter stay. He would have none of it and was very rude on the phone. Later that night I had 2 quests over and we found underwear as the room was not properly cleaned. I reported it to the owner. Nobody came to clean it, so I asked for a fair compensation as I had to remove and clean it myself. After that the communication took a turn for the worse. I was called a liar and the host threatened to call the police as he thought I planted and staged the whole thing to get money back. It was never about the money. Even though I had witnesses. I believe as a host you always should stay professional and never call your guests a liar and certainly not start to threaten to call the police. This would have easily been resolved by sending a cleaner immediately and just a simple gesture of compensation. I would have settled for a simple drink, and I wouldn't have written this. I checked out after 1 night even though I paid for 3, after not feeling safe being threatened. Again, not about the money otherwise I would have stayed. Upon checkout I was called a liar by the Belgian chef in front of my 2 guests. I refused to stoop down to his level, so I left. The Thai staff was nice but the owner and Belgian chef are very abrasive, rude. Sending nasty messages. Booking.com intervened and gave me a compensation. I checked in the Zee Luxury Boutique Hotel, negotiated the same price as the Grand Blue Hotel. Compared to Grand Blue hotel it’s a world of difference on every level. Quality, Service and how they thread customer. Truly 5 stars. It’s not about the money but about respect which the Grand Blue doesn’t have for customer. I believe in karma also in business this place will go bankrupt if they keep threating customers like this. AVOID AT ALL COST. CONS: OVER-PRISED, VERY POOR QUALITY, BAD AMENITIES RUDE STAFF, CAN’T CHANGE BOOKING. Pros: Thai staff was nice and stayed professional.
