I’ve been getting a Brazilian sugar wax for about 8 months or so every 3 weeks. I am in the Dominican Republic for 2 months and I was terrified that I would have to go back to shaving due to sugar waxing being unavailable . I was so excited when I found Andari spa online and found out they do the method. The place is impeccably clean and smells great. I was also able to wash myself before and after with clean towels. Booking an appointment online was quick and easy. I had Yany as my waxer and she was amazing ! She made me feel at ease and she was quick and thorough. I barely flinched through the entire process, and I was a week late, which meant I was very hairy so I thought it would be a lot more painful. I can’t wait to go again before I leave the country next month . Great job !

I highly recommend this spa and their services. I have gone twice now for facials and also for the sauna. The facials were wonderful and my face felt so soft afterwards. The spa is thoughtfully decorated with so many personal touches. For instance, in the changing room, they have a board where they specifically write your name with a welcome message, the sauna always was ready with fresh water, towels, and music, and there are inspirational quotes hidden throughout. You really feel special when you go there. I was always asked if I wanted something like tea or juice (which so many other spas forget about). Also, the location is wonderful. It is in the center of town, it is very quiet, and has private parking. I am looking forward to returning.

My hour long massage with Grace was the best massage I’ve ever had. She absolutely knows how the body works and what it needs, applying the perfect amount of pressure to the right places. I also loved her use of lavender oil and soft music to enhance the whole experience. Grace was also kind, friendly and interesting. I enjoyed getting to know her and felt immediately comfortable during the massage. Well worth the price. I will be visiting again ASAP!

This SUP Yoga class is practiced on the board, in the water comprised of basic and more challenging yoga moves that also incorporate the paddle.
