This 3 day excursion to the Sahara Desert complete with camel ride to our beautiful overnight glamping stay was truly magical! Kamal our guide and driver was the best! He was very informative and helpful. He picked us up at our hotel in Marrakech and safely drove us through the Atlas mountains to a hotel with incredible views. On day 2 we proceeded to the desert but before we got there he stopped and purchased a Cheiche for each of us which the camel guides wrapped around our heads. We got on the camels and rode out into the sunset where our Berber hosts were waiting for us. It was an absolute bucket list event. If you are hesitant about doing this...don't be! Just have Kamal take you!! BTW...I forgot to mention that Kamal also helped us stop for wine before we went to the desert! I would give this a six star review if I could!!

We really enjoyed the tour of Moroccan “Hollywood”! The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Seeing some of the spots for Game of Thrones and Indiana Jones was really neat! Walking through the city there were interesting drawings and art pieces for sale. We rode a camel which was neat to say! It was really interesting to ask the guide cultural differences and understand them better!

Lovely driver/tour guide. Picked up on time. However, there was no ‘paradise valley’. On the way to the valley, we stopped at a garden. A random lady, without any introduction, took us for a walk in this garden and showed us different plants and told us their names and their benefits. She then took us to the oil shop and indirectly pressured to buy tiny argan oil tubs for €30. It was the same argan/moroccon oil on Amazon for €5. But she said its natural etc. and would not stop insisting. I had to be firm with her and got out of there. Dont be fooled by them. They will be extremely nice to you and make you tea and put lots of creams and lotions on you and then charge you extortionate prices for tiny jars. We then got back in the car and made our way into the mountains towards the valley. After a 25 minute downhill walk, we arrived at this valley and there was no water. There was no lake. It was nothing like in the pictures. I was the first one to get here as our guide picked us up at 8am. Many others arrived later as they get picked up at 9am. Soon we were followed by crowds of people who also arrived and had a WTF moment. They were shocked to see that there was only a few bunch of rocks here and nothing else. AND THEN afterwards the tour guides started to say ‘oh, Morocco got no rain in the winter so they are going through a dry spell’. They could have said this before I bought the tickets or not advertise with pictures taken from last year or before. Morocco may or may not get rain in December 2020. Until then, this place is nothing like the pictures. There was one small puddle of muddy/dirty water. We went further where the guide said we could see another valley/lake. Hiked for another 30 minutes, mostly uphill and then downhill. Arrived at another tiny lake with dirty water. Did not even bother posing for pictures. Awful. Avoid. For the company arranging these visits, be honest with your pictures or you are committing fraud. And also, the oil garden should not be part of a trip. I did not want a random lady selling me oil for €30 at 8:30 in the morning.

Omar was recommended to us by a friend, and what a lovely encounter! We did 3 day trips from Marrakesh: Ouzoud (my personal favorite because of the monkeys ???? ), Ourzazate and Ait ben haddou (for lovers of film making or Game of Thrones, we also visited the Atlas Studios -extremely pleasant experience) and Ourika Valley (for nature lovers that can enjoy light trekking to waterfalls). We also had the transfer from Marrakesh to Casablanca on January 3rd 2021. Important to mention that we traveled during covid crisis, however we felt safe all the time- disinfectant was always waiting for us in the car. Policemen stopped us several times for checks, but he was prepared with covid declaration ready and all other documents in order. We highly recommend Omar and his company for his level of professionalism and due care. He is also funny ????
