My wife and I had a great time with Pablo and Cesar. This tour was fantastic; not too much walking, great history, and of course AMAZING food. We went to places that they went to as children; it was an immersive experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to eat where the locals do.

The yellow Turibus was superb. Comfortable, punctual start, with knowledgeable tour guides and went through several landmarks. You go outside Larcomar shopping centre to catch it at 9:15 am or 2:30 pm and end back at the same place 4 hours later. The views were great and the 2 stops at Barranco and Plaza Mayor were worth it. We learned a lot about Peru while taking photos and enjoying ourselves. Good value for money. They’re working on turning it into a hop-on/off bus with more stops in future.

It is possible to trek into the site, but for most people the train is the option. The trip is about an hour and one half and is wonderful. There is so much to see on the trip that you would like the train tp go slower! For most of the ride, the river will be in clear view, but the mountain views are really spectacular.
