Lima, founded by Francisco Pizarro in 1535, is a fascinating city and a treasure trove of history. Explore ancient Incan archeological sites, or stroll through the elegant cathedrals and opulent palaces dating from Spanish colonial times. Downtown Lima is crowded, but you'll enjoy exploring the city's neighborhoods—especially the beachfront areas, which have great shopping and dining and fabulous hotels.

Cannot recall the restaurant name, but this is a small, friendly and cozy restaurant that sells the best Juane I’ve tried in several years.... yummy ???? if someone is from Iquitos or ever been in Iquitos know what I am referring to yummy ???? Just be careful when go there, I’ve heard it’s not very safe and better if you’re no wear any jewelry or bring big purses with you when go to Gamarra. You can also find nice and cheap clothing there.
