If you are near Accident (on purpose or on accident- hahahahaha!), stop by Firefly Farms to get yourself the most delicious cheese! We had previously had the Merry Goat Round at a winery and loved it. We were looking forward stopping in their market. They had many choices of cheeses, wine, bread/crackers, meats. You could easily shop for a great charcuterie platter there! The staff was very helpful in recommendations. We've already dipped into the wood-strapped Merry Goat Round (aged 90 days to sweet, soft perfection, almost like a brie) and look forward to enjoying our others. They also had other local merchants' goods, i.e. honey, spreads. We were happy to hear they now have a store in Whitehall Market in Baltimore and look forward to checking that out!

Book Mark'et & Antique Mezzanine is a clever bookstore in downtown Oakland, and the owner is very proud of her painstaking creation. Book Mark'et & Antique Mezzanine is a must visit in downtown Oakland; please exit 219, and visit downtown Oakland. Book Mark'et & Antique Mezzanine has a clever reading loft with views of the books below. If one has children, be certain to visit the children’s room. We discuss possible passenger B & O service to Oakland with the owner, and train excursions would be a real benefit to Oakland.

Was looking for a place to get some souvenirs. Not much was around. Bear Creek was fully stocked with something for everyone. Top line shop and expensive but they seem to be the only place in town. Some items were overpriced. Overall a nice quality shop with nice and friendly staff. Expect to pay some bucks to cover everyone on your shopping list but do stop by.
