Beautiful resort

Reviewed By katyspeed

My partner and I stayed here for a few days and the resort and views are spectacular. The staff are friendly and it's well managed and clean The only thing that let's this place down is the food, unfortunately this is not in line with rest of the hotel. The cooked breakfast is OK but way over cooked and rubbery but the dinner is disappointing not much choice and tasteless even the pasta was chewy and hard. I would recommend going here without all inclusive and enjoy local restaurants instead.

Loved this place, great for kids!

Reviewed By Samphire000

Wonderful experience -- great for toddlers/babies/older kids (perhaps not teenagers unless in a group of others same age). Each hotel is close to the others but has own facilities - pool at Sabine was nice and quiet but hotel a bit further from the 'centre', so next time we'd do Palme that has better pool for kids. Lovely facilities, kids' play area and baby/toddler feeding centre with lunch every day :). Such a great choice for families! Only downsides were it's quite a windy drive over mountains from main airport (think car sick kids..) plus a lot of mosquitos in evenings... definitely take spray if going in summer, I don't know about other months. We would love to return though and highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, amazing location and great service!!

We stayed at the hotel in august 2021 and we highly recommend it. We enjoyed the beautiful view over the port of Olbia from the evening restaurant and over the infinity pool from the breakfast terrace. For both dinner and breakfast we were introduced to a great variety of traditional Sardinian food, which made our stay delightful. We highly recommend to enjoy a drink at the hotel bar, where you will find delicious cocktail, a breathtaking view over the sea and a very welcoming and professional staff. At our arrival at the hotel we were provided with a beach bag with towels and the great option of reaching the beach directly with the hotel's "mini bus" (all included in the price of the room).

Hotel grounds are well maintained and the pool area is very nice - although doesn’t seem to be cleaned very often. For example, one morning, there were ketchup smears on the table next to our loungers which clearly hadn’t been cleaned overnight. Not what you’d expect at a hotel of this price. Rooms are pretty tiny for the price, and had no view at all although it was nice to have a small private garden. There is no information in the rooms at all - when we checked out there was water on our bill from the room, and it was only then explained to us that if we drank the cold water from the mini bar we would be charged, whereas if we drank the room temperature water on top of the mini bar it would be free - hotel did remove this from the bill but it seems like a ridiculous policy and certainly something they need to make guests aware of. There is a kids club, but it didn’t involve any of the activities featured on the website eg trips to the beach etc. it has long opening hours but we wouldn’t leave our kids there inside all day, so we only used it for the odd hour here and there. it’s shame because our kids have had a great time and lovely range of activities at other hotel kids clubs. Also opening hours are sporadic. Some days it opens at 10, and some days at 11 but no one seems to know which days are which (even on the day) so it’s impossible to plan anything - it wasn’t clear to us why they couldn’t just put a sign up saying when it’s open. Worst thing about the hotel (and the main reason we would not return) is the restaurant. It’s hugely overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. Service was awful - drinks brought after starters, wrong orders etc. Most egregious are the kids meals - E22 for microwaved chicken nuggets and chips of a lower quality than a fast food chain. We eat out at nice restaurants with our kids at home and most decent restaurants will cook a nice meal for kids from scratch. This was just astonishing, especially when there are other nice restaurants nearby cooking great food at 1/3 of the price (We liked Lu Impostu restaurant at the beach). Golf buggies used by the staff in the resort are driven much too fast in pedestrian areas between the rooms. Our 5 year old daughter was very close to being run over by one travelling at high speed. Management dealt with the matter ok but then we continued to see buggies travelling at speeds that could severely injure a child for the rest of our stay so clearly the message didn’t get through. Another reason we wouldn’t go back. Reception staff generally helpful in arranging taxis etc (which are extortionate) and sorted some free drop offs when taxis couldn’t be found. However, I would not recommend getting the hotel to arrange an airport transfer - its E150 and we paid E62 with no waiting by simply taking a taxi from the taxi rank at Olbia airport. Finally, on the last night the turn down staff left our door open. Luckily nothing was stolen. All in all, whilst there are some nice things about the hotel, we wouldn’t return for the reasons above and because we thought it was pretty overpriced.

This is a good place to stay when you are passing through - easy to get to and out of town so easy parking. Pool is ok, restaurant looked nice, staff were extremely friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the mattress, which was not great. But overall a good place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding countryside and then want to relax in the evening without the bustle of town.

My room and the facilities were extremely clean with such kind and professional staff available 24/7. The hotel was also in a prime location with great food. The staff was very attentive and helpful, answering any questions I had. If you want a one of a kind experience, please stay here. The service was excellent, and I can't say enough great things about this hotel.
