very average but great staff

rooms are large and comfortable, cleaning below standard, staff always happy to help. No concierge at reception to help with planning outings, If you do plan a bike tour, be careful to make sure arrangements and fees are agreed. The hotel is a maze, easy to get lost. Beach staff lovely, and the bar waitress is fabulous. Not enough sun loungers by the pool or space for more.

Disrespectful staff avoid at all cost

Reviewed By Janis_kalninsh

We visited the hotel and spa at the end of our family holidays in Italy. Hotel is by far below of any Tuscan spa hotel standards: no bathrobes, no slippers, reception works 9am-9pm. We could not sleep first night as bed was way over sprayed with room freshener, which was something we experienced for the first time during travels. Worst of all is attitude of the staff: we had a tiny certified service dog with us. We had no single problem during 2 week trip in Italy in any of the hotels, museums, etc. Not here though: firstly they did not want to recognize this, finally having discussed this with manager all was fine first evening. For departure we had to settle the bill the night before, and they said they would charge us for service dog! We told reception this was already discussed with manager first night, they said they do not care, manager is off duty now and they would not call her, if we want to take this off the bill we should wait for the manager to turn up next morning, which meant missing out flight! Total disrespect, avoid at all cost.

Great location, beautiful resort, some minor issues

Reviewed By Silvia M

Me, my 2 children and my parents stayed in a 2 bedroom apartments for a week and we just came back. Let me start saying the location is amazing, in a quiet place, on a gorgeous beach, surrounded by a wooded area. Everything is perfect for a relaxing vacation with children. Our apartment was ok, nothing luxurious but good enough, I just wish we had a small table inside too. And I wish we weren't so close to the theatre, you could hear the shows going on until at least 11pm as if they were inside our bedroom. Being Italian myself I understand that's not that late for Italy while on vacation, but living in northern Europe my kids go to bed early. Both breakfast and the take away food we bought were very good, no complaints there at all. It was also awesome to have a small maket right there for all we needed. Truly perfect for a lazy vacation! Staff was friendly, everyone was very nice to all of us, and my daughter loved the miniclub. My main complaint is that we waited until 6pm on the check in day to have our apartments. We arrived a few minutes before 4 when we were supposed to be able to check in, and we were told our apartment was almost ready. That was the phrase that was repeated to us everytime I asked. I feel that if the receptionist told us the truth (not sure she even knew tbh), we would have at least gone to the beach or done something else instead of just sitting there waiting with 2 tired cranky children after a long drive. And COVID seemed to "disappear" in the theatre in the evening, many people didn't wear masks (yes, it's outdoor so technically not required, but crowded), or on the beach were umbrellas still seemed very close (at least not being peak season many were still empty). There were also some minor organization issues, for example on the entertainment program the mini club was supposed to start at 10am if you read the Italian and German ones hanging close to the pool and bar, 9:30am if you read the English one right next to them. The receptionist told me the app was supposed to have the entertainment program for every day, but it didn't (I showed her too). After the first day we learned what was going on though. Overall I still enjoyed my vacation, and even though I won't give a 5/5 rating to this place, it's still a very nice place to spend time with your family, and I would go back.

The place is outdated. We had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor with garden at the back and terrace/garden in the front. The apartment is very noisy. There is only one bad old bed/couch and 4 table chairs to sit on. The tableware does not have bowls or thee mugs. There is no wifi in the apartment. Outside , at the pool and in the restaurant there is free wifi but slow. The apartment was not very clean ( cobwebs on the sealing and dirt in the bathroom). The bedroom has such a poor ventilation that a mechanical ventilation is installed. Next to the switch there is the request to leave it on. But it makes to much noise to sleep with. If you switch it off the room gets a moisturized smell. The TV is small approx 32cm It has mainly italian channels and some international news channels. The tennis court and the swimming pool are very nice. Pool was heated to a nice teperature. During our stay 3 of the 6 swim lanes were occupied by a group and could not be used. The sunbeds at the pool requires a replacement. You are lying on the plastic frame of the bed. The quality of the restaurant is good. But the menu is limited. All the pasta dishes had fish. The shop was closed and no bus to the beach (in September the season ends). There is no service to buy bread in the morning. This place is really for an active and sport holiday. Where you use the apartment only as bedroom and the pool only for swimming.

We just spent few days at the Vada Village, it was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation, the facilities but most importantly the people who work there. Super helpful, flexible and so kind! It’s a perfect place to spend time with family also by being steps away from the beautiful beaches. Not to mention the delicious food the restaurant on site has to offer! Would definitely recommend and I hope to go back one day.

Excellent facilities, complimented by the staff!

It was our first visit to Lemnos, not a very touristy island. Everything is on about a 30km radius from the hotel. What makes this hotel so diffferent, is that off site accomodation is also offered. That is no problem, because transport is provided to and through. Food is good and the a-la-carte menu's portions are ample. We can definately recommend.

Cleaning staff are insolent, overpriced

Reviewed By Belgiorno

The location is great, and there's an upstairs terrace... but that's where it ends.. The staff seem unable to manage. My room had various things not working that were never resolved. 2 broken lamps, no water pressure the shower not cleaned. (in times of covid) the toilet brush was disgusting and about 10 years old. I asked for a replacement and they brought me one in exactly the same condition. Beds uncomfortable. No WiFi in the rooms The outside area of the rooms wasn't swept or cleaned between guests and cigarette butt's Everywhere. Breakfast. No fresh fruit. Just packaged cakes I had lunch in the restaurant Alta marina a very small palte of overcooked scrimp was the seafood plate. Overpriced. The waiters were new and nice just brought in from Calabria. But really the place is just badly run.

Beautiful Tuscany! Location, Food, and one of our favorite trips!

Reviewed By Z1693KUkimberlyw

We had the best trip to Tuscany! We checked in Sept 28-Oct 5th. The resort was dead, but we got a true Italian experience during the off season, which I acknowledge isn't for everyone. You are near the mountains and the beach here! You get the best of both worlds. It is an unbeatable location! You are about a 5-10 minute drive from a COOP (grocery store - bring your own bags or you can buy some there), 15 minute walk from the beach, two restaurants on site, two pools, and a great community of friendly staff! You are within driving distance to the true heart of wine country. Check in was a little difficult because of the language barrier, but it all worked out. Keep in mind there is a 2.5 euro per day per person fee and the 50 euro fee you have to pay when you check in. This 50 euro can be used for the spa (you have two entrees with this). We didn't get a chance to use the spa, but wanted to (so I feel like it is a good rate for two people to use the spa). You can park one car for free and any additional car is 50 euros. Weather: Early fall - it was between 60-80 degrees and since you are close to the coast it can get pretty windy and chilly at times. Food on premise: Breakfast place, coffee, and bar - GREAT price, tastes great, and the bartender gave us the best ideas for beaches and towns to go to while we were in Italy! If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have had the experiences that he recommended. The proper restaurant on premise is a little hit or miss. Pasta was great the 1st day, but if you go during off hours it could be a huge miss. Pizza is only available during certain hours as well (that is normal anywhere you go though, which is what we learned while we were in Italy). Wifi: it is available but only for two devises at a time and it is not great. They do have a computer in the lobby and it has a lot better service. Shops on Premise: Rarely opened (most likely because it was off season) and not really worth it Location to beaches and towns: YES YES YES (resort beach was great and had chairs dedicated to our resort only) Room: We had six people (3 couples) with 1 bathroom and 2 total bedrooms. 1 master bedroom, 1 bedroom had 2 twin beds, and the couches doubled as beds. It was a little tight for 6 adults, the beds were a little hard (maybe this is normal in Italy), but it had everything we needed in the bathroom, kitchen (utensils, plates) etc. Please visit the towns around this resort. They are charming and quaint. They were the highlight of our trip. BEST TRIP TO EUROPE!

Lovely view!!!

Beautiful view. Rooms very modern and quirky (we were in bamboo and also saw Blue - both cute!!!), with a nespresso machine and a fridge, though missing a kettle. The gardens are lovely, but be aware of the bees. Access to pool is great, gets busy though so get there early! Free parking always nice! Access to beach is available but small and pebbly. Gym times vary so be aware of that - call ahead. Breakfast is Italian style - sugar and pastries… not for everyone but it is plentiful as you can have as many as you want - same for tea and coffee (just ask!!). Overall a nice stay! We ate in our room - might be an idea for the resort to provide plates as there is a table and cutlery is already provided.
