Booking 2 room. 1 for my mom at the building. 1 For me and my husband at the mushroom house. We were order the dinner from room service. The food is the best . I would recommend it. We ordered papaya salad ,fried fish with garlic sauce , saute- Chayote and Sour Curry with shrimp Vegetable Omelet. The price is reasonable. Also a lot of choices for breakfast. This is nice for family's trip.

Great hotel in Khao Kho
Reviewed By madisonw348My partner and I stayed two nights at De Capoc in Khao Kho. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The resort has a very relaxing vibe and beautiful views. We stayed in a Villa with the outdoor “chill” area / net. We used it a lot more than we thought we would and it is a great addition to the room. The staff at this hotel are so welcoming and helpful. They did everything that they could to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. The location is good. Everything is a bit spread out here, but it is convenient to a strip of restaurants and convenience stores. Otherwise it was easy to get a private driver to get around Khao Kho. I’d highly recommend this resorr to anyone coming to visit Khao Kho!

Reviewed By iamjohnnyIt is a beautiful resort away from noise and crowd with a great view of the mountains. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. We chose the tents for our accommodation just for the experience. The area is tranquil and beautiful.

Cozy and comfortable Resort at a perfect location
Reviewed By DieterJennifer86The rooms at the hotel are very cozy, clean an comfortable. The stuff was friendly and the location very closed to the Temple was perfect. Located in the hills the resort comes with a stunning view to the mountains. There is also a nice Coffee shop attached to the hotel. Also they have many other restaurants close to this location. The western style breakfast is in the typical style for hotels at the provinces. However they had a coffee maker for fresh coffee. The thai breakfast was very delicious! The bed in the rooms was soft and makes us to sleep very well. If we come again in this area, we surly will stay again in this resort.

Reviewed By BomohThe architecture and internal layout of this place reminded me of 1980s Bulgaria or Romania. Vast open bare spaces and a forlorn look. Initially we were given a room amongst some local people who kept their room doors open whilst shout at each other and running bare chested hither and dither. The reception gave us a very quiet room in a remote part of the hotel after complaint. Room and bed were ok. Aircon worked but shower a bit weak. Breakfast was nothing special but coffee and toast were ok. Girls at reception tried hard and were pleasant.

Reviewed By 2boys_1man_1womanGlamping is the “in” thing right for KhaoKho. And we follow the trend by staying a night at Red Z. We book for a nice tent( can’t remember the name) which came with bathing and toilet facility, considering we are stayin with our 2 boys. The weather is cooling which is another plus point. The netting outside the tent is comfortable for both adults as the kids sleep, We sat there in the cooling night and have a few bottles of beer under the stars.. Very romantic experience.

Great glamping experience
Reviewed By CaravalineThe resort is a value for money choice for a glamping experience. Service is impeccable, they will send your breakfast to your room so that you can enjoy the meal from the tent. Do note that in the tent with attached bathroom, the bathroom is not totally sheltered (showers, sink, changing area and toilet are sheltered separately but there's no shelter when you walk from one to another) so you will be showering and using the toilet in open air, though the resort does provide umbrellas. Be prepared for the usual flying bugs as it is still somewhat a camping experience that's not as comfortable as a usual hotel stay. The resort can be quite hard to find at first instance, it's a bit off the main road and you will need to drive through a short dirt track before reaching the resort. Try not to reach the resort after sunset when you first check in else it would really be difficult to find in the dark. The popular scenic viewing spot is just a 1km drive away, so it's a perfect place to stay if you want to view the sunrise and not have to drive too far or set off too early to reach a viewing point. The owners rear a number of dogs in the compounds, they can be super friendly and will loitor around the tents which can be good or bad depending on your feelings towards dogs. My kid had a great time playing with them. As at Aug 2019, credit card payments are not accepted. We were taken by surprise as the booking site did not indicate this. Do prepare enough cash at check out. There's no restaurant near the resort, but you can always order room (tent) service for meals, they are decent and inexpensive compared to some of the popular restaurants in the area.

Reviewed By KaSaDevดิฉันกับแฟน ได้เข้าพักเมื่อช่วงธันวาคม 2560 ในราคา 2,500 บาท พวกเราได้ห้องพักเล็ก ๆ เป็นห้องพัดลมพร้อมอาหารเช้า เนื่องจากเป็นช่วงที่อากาศเย็น พวกเราจึงไม่มีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับอากาศ แต่พวกเรามีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความปลอดภัย และน้ำไม่ไหลตอนเรากำลังจะอาบน้ำพอดี รอผู้ดูแลมาแก้ไขให้นานมาก พอน้ำไหล ก็เป็นน้ำสีดำ ๆ ห้องน้ำสกปรก มีแมลงสาบนอนตายอยู่ด้วย ช่วงที่เราเข้าพัก มีเพียงพวกเรา 1 หลัง และ อีกหลังด้านบน ทั้งรีสอร์ทมีเพียง 2 หลังที่มีคนเข้าพัก มันดูวังเวงมาก ตกกลางคืน ขณะที่พวกเรากำลังหลับ เราได้ยินเสียงคนพยายามไขประตูห้องของพวกเรา พวกเราจึงนอนฟังให้แน่ชัด เสียงไขประตู ดังเป็นจังหวะ เหมือนคนพยายามไขประตูห้องของเรา จนพวกเราตัดสินใจ ลุกไปเปิดไฟ แต่เสียงไขประตูก็ยังไม่หยุด สักพักเสียงไขประตูหยุดลง ดิฉันได้เปิดผ้าม่านตรงประตูออก เพื่อจะได้รู้ว่าเป็นใครกันแน่ แต่ด้วยความกลัว ต่างถิ่น และเงียบมาก เพราะมันดึกมากแล้ว ดิฉันจึ่งส่งไลน์หาเจ้าของรีสอร์ท เจ้าของรีสอร์ทแจ้งว่า จะให้ผู้ดูแลมาดู พวกเรารอประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมง ก็ยังไม่มีใครมา ดิฉันจึงโทรหาเจ้าของรีสอร์ท สักพักผู้ดูแลถึงจะมา พวกเราได้เล่าเหตุการณ์ทั้งหมดให้ผู้ดูแลฟัง แต่ทางผู้ดูแลก็ยืนยันว่า รีสอร์ทเปิดมานานแล้ว ไม่มีเหตุการณ์อย่างนี้เกิดขึ้นแน่นอน และไม่ทำอะไรทั้งสิ้น พวกเราจึงได้แต่บอกเล่าให้ผู้ดูแลรับฟัง จากนั้นดิฉันจึงให้แฟนเข้านอนเพราะเขาขับรถตลอดทั้งคืนทั้งวันแล้วเหนื่อยกว่าดิฉันมาก พวกเราตัดสินใจจะนอนโดยเปิดไฟห้อง และทีวีไว้ ส่วนดิฉันจะเป็นคนอยู่เฝ้าสถานการณ์เอง หลังจากนั้นก็ไม่มีเสียงพยายามไขประตูห้องอีกจนเช้า ประมาณ 7 โมงเช้าก็มีคนเดินเข้ามาที่บ้านหลังที่เราพักอยู่ ดิฉันจึ่งออกไปดู พบว่าเป็นคนเอาอาหารเช้ามาให้ ซึ่งเป็นข้าวต้มรสชาดแย่ ๆ 2 ถุง ซึ่งก่อนที่จะจอง เราได้ถามเจ้าของรีสอร์ทแล้วว่า อาหารเช้าเป็นแบบใด เพราะดิฉันไม่ทานข้าวต้ม ทางเจ้าของแจ้งว่า เป็นอาหารทั่วไป พวกขนมปัง อาหารไทย ประมาณนั้น แต่พอเอาเข้าจริง ๆ กลับได้แค่ ข้าวต้มรสชาดแย่ ๆ เช้าวันนั้นดิฉันจึงไม่ได้ทานข้าวเช้าของรีสอร์ท หากคุณต้องการพักที่เขาค้อ พวกเราแนะนำให้หาที่พักแต่เนิ่น ๆ และอย่าเลือกพักที่นี่อีกเลย เสียดายเงิน ยังต้องมาเจอกับประสบการณ์แย่ ๆ อีก

Reviewed By CaravalineQuaint cabin in the middle of the woods. There's flies and occasional bugs found in the room but it's expected considering the surroundings. Bathrooms are big, love the vanity area. There's a huge selection of board games in the reception area if you just want to chill, rental is 100 baht for the total length of your stay. The breakfast was a gem. Stayed 3 nights here, the cooked breakfast changes everyday but they are all made of healthy stuff like brown rice and eggs and a warm drink. There's a breakfast station too with same stuff every day: walnut scones, cereals, milk, passion fruit juice. You can choose your dessert after breakfast from their good selection of homemade gelato. Don't forget to do some souvenir shopping before you leave as guests get a 10% discount off their merchandise, which are also sold in local products shops elsewhere in Khao Kho and even Bangkok. Totally enjoyed our stay.
