A Ca Vegia

Soddisfattissimi!!! :)

Reviewed By ClimberPower

A PRESTO SIG. ANTONIO!!!

1) Name is misleading. it has nothing to do with Cinque Terre! It's outside the national park and it's about 1 hour (!) drive from any of the villages on the mountain narrow roads. 2) Location is middle of nothing. Even the nearest shop is like 10 minutes drive. 3) They overcharge you. The sum on the web site was indicates "with taxes", but upon arrival they added more taxes on the top. 4) Absolutely arrogant people. Their "parking" is on the steep slide, the only 2 normal spots were occupied, so I was really confused and just drove to the house door at least to take out the bags. After driving 1 hour in the dark the first thing i heard upon arrival (instead of "hello") was a scream from the terrace above "don't park here!". 5) They don't care about guests. We were tired, all i wanted was to rest, but the check in was very slow - i was standing there like 10 minutes, while he was writing the data from our passports. And then after i pointed out that he is overcharging me and showed him the booking confirmation. He started to yiell at me - "go out and look to another hotel". It was around 10-30 p.m., basically middle of the night, so I really had no choice. But i was totally shocked the way they treat customers. 6) Rooms are not made for you, it's like big owners warehouse. We have got the last room that night, so seems they gave us the biggest one. The room had double bed, baby bed, chimney (closed with large ugly papers saying "do ot use - decoration only", very old TV and a big storage with hundreds of plates and dishes. It was totally awkward. In addition to that there was a kitchen, which we could barely enter because they put a extra double bed there (no, not for us, they just put it as if it's a storage). The other rooms downstairs are tiny and have no windows, at least our had a window and a terrace. Overall it was the worst experience in a long time.

Perfect relax in Balsamo

Reviewed By Berbara

Casa Balsamo was our random choice, but we were very lucky to pick it. Beautifully and sensitively renovated old house, beautifull surroundings but mainly Bruno the landlord. His charisma springs the friendly atmosphere, he connects guests to sit together and talk in the outside kitchen and it made our stay unforgettable.

B&B L'Allegra Brigata

Our house is a two-floor country cottage recently built it is situated in a small and quiet outlying ward beyond Finalborgo, in a rural area, entirely sourrounded by the typical "terraces" of the Ligurian hinterland. The countryside offers plenty of centuries-old olive trees, citrus cultivations as well as other fruit trees, where our three sheep can graze at ease.

We were so happy to find this B&B when we decided to stay in Finale for a climbing weekend. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. It's clear that she loves what she does and brings an amazing positive vibe to the place. The breakfast is out of this world!

Simple dinner, but great views

Reviewed By 425agnesez

Certainly off the beaten track as it takes you 20 min by car to get here from the sea, via very very small and dangerous roads! Great views from up there and along the road to get there. Very friendly run family restaurant! But the food is nothing to write home about. Best thing was the fish antipasti. The rest was less than average. Overcooked pasta ai frutti di mare, soggy fritto misto and simple barbecue meat. In other words come here only if you really want peace and quite and feel like enjoying the view, for the food not really!

Such a lovely place to station oneself in the Ligure area of the Italian Riviera. The proprietess, Doris, speaks Italian, English, German, Spanish. It's a 16th c house that Doris had beautifully renovated while maintaining the integrity of the structure and the walls painted in the 18th c. The garden gives the perfect ambience for the breakfast of fresh fruits, variety of breads, of homemade fruit jams, cheeses and meats --and Italian coffee!

Very nice agritursimo and very friendly family

Reviewed By Raymond d

On a very last minute base we booked our stay at Le Raganelle. It was a little hard to find once we arrived in Diano Marina. But when you know where to look for. Raganelle means frogg. Once you arrive via siano, just follow the frogg-signs and you'll discover a little oasis on the hillside, hidden in olivetrees and a pool with a beautiful view on the Diano Marina bay! The family of this agriturismo is very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we do't speak Itallian and the family nor English nor German. Never the less with hands and feed we came a long way. We loved "Nonni" she's a good cook and e very friendly lady, in short every reason to learn to speak Italian. When in the neighbourhood, we definately will retrurn.

Never in A Million Years

Reviewed By Connie W

As beautiful as the views are from the garden and the rooms, don't be fooled by this property's descriptions. It is remote. If you don't have a car don't stay here. At 25€ per trip your costs skyrocket. There is no restaurant. WiFi was almost non-existent unless you went into the garden and stood by the breakfast room door. There is no sound proofing between the rooms. You can hear your neighbor's every bathroom function and then some. The staff was not at all helpful in getting a taxi and some taxi drivers had no idea where this BnB was located. Bus service is totally unreliable. The kindness of strangers got us onto town twice and on our departure day the staff couldn't/wouldn't arrange taxi service. Finally one of the vineyard workers took us down in his truck. The place advertises close to the beach but that is only as the crow flies or a dangerous climb down 700meters of paths and irregular stone steps. I usually can find something good to say about a place but this time, only the view.
