Uva Province (Sinhalese: ඌව පළාත Uva Palata, Tamil: ஊவா மாகாணம் Uva Maakaanam) is Sri Lanka's second least populated province, with 1,259,880 people, created in 1896. It consists of two districts: Badulla and Moneragala. The provincial capital is Badulla. Uva is bordered by Eastern, Southern and Central provinces. Its major tourist attractions are Dunhinda falls, Diyaluma Falls, Rawana Falls, the Yala National Park (lying partly in the Southern and Eastern Provinces) and Gal Oya National Park (lying partly in the Eastern Province). The Gal Oya hills and the Central mountains are the main uplands, while the Mahaweli (Sinhalese: great-sandy) and Menik (Sinhalese: gemstone) rivers and the huge Senanayake Samudraya and Maduru Oya Reservoirs are the major waterways.

Went on a morning safari, and had a great time! It was rumored that a leopard was laying on a rock, but then it dissoparied. The other cars went on to chase it, but our driver stayed put with the rock and closed the engine. 5 min wait, and the leopard claimed up on the rock again - and we were all alone to vitnes the beautiful animal! Saw alot of other animals and the driver choose roads with no/few other cars, so we felt "alone" on the safari journey. Recommanded!

What an incredible time I had with this company last year. It was my first time doing anything like this before and I was pretty skeptical to begin with. After chatting on the website I felt way more relaxed and couldn't wait for the trip to start. The whole experience when I was in Thailand was just out of this world. The hotels, activities, experiences and all the locals we met on the tour. What really stood out for me was how friendly the guides were. Matt and all the local guides were just super friendly and they really were more like your friend than a guide or leader. If I had to choose my favourite day it would have to be the day we did the boat trip on Phi Phi. We had the tunes going and the weather was just amazing, we saw reef sharks and a turtle which just blew my mind (I have never seen a turtle before lol). I loved it that much I am planning my next trip with the company as soon as all this COVID stuff is finished. Thanks for a great time and making my first travelling experience so special x

I just got back from a 8 night trip.to.Sri Lanka and was super.amazed by Mr Thilanka from Holiday Walkers. Of course the tour was good. However what impressed me.most was , --about a week before the tour I thought I need to cancel , I had already paid 100%. Thilanka spoke to the hotel and got me a 100 percent refund !!! . We were so.impressed. However, we then proceeded with the tour as planned and had a magnificent time !

The trip was very well organized. The contact was smooth.most amazing train ride. During the Safari we had our own Jeep for 3 of us. We were accompanied with a driver and a guide who was very informative.

Would strongly recommend our driver Jude who drove us around the NE Province for 4 days - very smooth, no horning, safe . And he speaks English well and knows his ways around. The van was clean, well maintained and Jude did a fabulous job getting all our luggage in.

Must do for travelers, the walk is not very long maybe 2 km. Well worth climbing to the peak for the spectacular views. The nine arches bridge is a less walking and on flat surface on the railway line, amazing site.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely polite and friendly and I just want to say that, in addition to awesome food, we had a delightful waiter, “Dhanushka”. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and made certain that we had everything we needed.
