One day, two Santorinis... For most visitors to the island, there is one Santorini. That of rugged, volcanic landscape and whitewashed cubiform buildings that spill down cliffs overlooking red, black and white lava pebble beaches. For photographers, though, there are two Santorinis: the island in the morning and the island in the afternoon.  Explore Santorini’s greatest hits and hidden bits The workshop is split into two parts – morning and afternoon – in keeping with the two Santorinis: Morning session We’ll start the day in the north of Santorini amongst picturesque traditional settlements, where you can capture an authentic side of the island, as experienced by the locals. Afternoon session After lunch and a break from the scorching midday sun (feel free to take a siesta), we’ll start up the afternoon session, heading south to explore off the beaten track.

Inclusions: Full instruction from a professional photographer and guidance throughout the workshop, Use of Tripod

Exclusions: Camera, Lenses

We booked a private tour as had teenagers and also an autistic son who would not have coped with an organised public tour. From the initial contact with Kallisti Private Tours we had every confidence we had made a good choice. Their communication was efficient throughout. Theodore was friendly and discussed with us what we would like to see, planning a personalised tour with us before we started the day. He took us to places we would never have discovered on our own. His knowledge of Santorini and its history was second to none and we could spend as much or little time in the comfortable air conditioned vehicle as required. Cold bottled water was provided all day. The views he showed us were stunning and there were plenty of photo opportunities and toilet breaks as required. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this Tour in order to see the entire island with a good English speaking guide with so much local, geographical and historical knowledge. Real quality.

Our guide was great as we scheduled easy pick up and drop off locations. Each winery had a different feel as they were located in different parts of southern Santorini. Tour was finished off with Venetsanos winery which was located in the cliffs overlooking the caldera. We would recommend.

We did a private dinner/sunset tour through Santorini Sailing on the TRITON BOAT. This was probably the best day of our trip. We had music, wine, ate dinner on the boat, went snorkeling, swam in the hot springs. AND THE STAFF WAS AMAZING!!! Captain was from Australia and couldn't of been better.

Amani was a wonderful guide - she strikes the right balance and was very good a meeting our wishes - she brought us to small passages in Oia and also in remote villages which are less touristic. She knows Santorini inside out and is full of positive energy . We were with our 6 year old daughter and she was perfect to connect with her , even prepared a small book about the history of the caldera and the volcano for our daughter . She speakers French as well so don't hesitate to book her for a private tour . As we were interested to have family photos in the beautiful scenery of Santorini we booked a photographer that came with us on the tour to take shots. Ask for MELINA KATRI . She is the photographer that came with us and did great shots .

Let’s wander around! There is an ancient path that used to connect the three villages and it’s ours to discover! This uncompromisingly scenic semi-private tour takes you through paths and fields starting from Pyrgos and leading through to the hidden village called Potamos with its small farmers’ houses. Our path leads us to Emporio with its narrow alleys and picturesque houses, where we can find a Venetian castle and fortress dating from the Middle Ages that will leave you speechless. Emporio is the largest settlement of Santorini. In fact, its strong medieval character and the Kasteli are well preserved and radiate the Cycladic character of its architecture. Our path will lead us through the fortress to a traditional settlement. Charge your cameras and cell phones because you will be snapping many photos on this private tour! On our way back, a mini-van will wait for us for the drop-off.

Amani guides you around the the little villages of Santorin and you soon will find yourself imagining how farmers in "the old days" were trying to make a living at this beautiful but very dry island. How did they cultivate wine here and what makes it so special? And how did they manage to build those houses alongside the hills? A pleasant way to find out is to book this tour and meet a guide who is really burning for the history of everyday life in the little villages of Santorin. We had a great day!

I traveled to Athens in December 2020. During that time Greece was under strict restrictions due to the covid-19 pandemic. I booked the transfer in early December and they were very responsive to all my queries regarding my trip and kept me posted up to the last minute. I had a late night arrival but Christos, the driver was there on time with a warm welcome. The company vehicle was extremely clean, fully equipped with sanitizer and disinfectant wipes and masks (if needed). All the preventive measures were taken. On the way to Athens, Christos gave me a detailed update on the measures and the movement restrictions imposed by that time and thoroughly explained the procedure to issue permits (with SMS) to go out. I book the transfer back to the airport with Marryposa. Cannot thank them enough for their service and hopefully next time will be on their base, on Santorini island, for a full tour! Totally recommended for all travelers arriving to Athens and need a transfer!

We were recommended by some close friends who had visited Santorini before, to join the Classic Santorini Panorama private tour, as we were interested in visiting the most worthseeing spots of the island while being professionally guided. The 6 hour sunset tour we chose, started at noon by picking us up with a luxury van from our hotel. Our private guide, Michael, was a friendly handsome man, who really took very special care of us from the very first moment! His knowledge about the island and the history of each of the places we visited were obvious very soon, as much as the professionalism of the whole tour. We had an amazing time at the well known Black beach were we swam and enjoyed a traditional meal, and then at the unique and really impressive Red beach. Guided through the narrow streets of the picturesque villages of Megalochori and Pyrgos, and the monastery of Profitis Ilias at the top of the cliff with the spectacular views, was an experience that we couldn't get enough! Visiting Oia as the final destination of the tour at the sunset time, left us breathless, as it was much more than anything we had heard about! The whole tour was so comfortable and flexible, really respectful to our needs, that gave us a great experience of our vacation in Santorini island.
