I am a tour guide of Sardinia. We will walk along the alleys and places of my childhood in the heart of Sassari, tasting the best local products. Meanwhile, I will reveal curiosities and anecdotes about the lifestyle of my hometown and thus you will get to know a new culture and our wonderful food and wine. During our walk, we will stop for a drink at a local bar. The best part of this experience will be the visit to my medieval cellar, where I keep my organic wine and a fantastic pecorino cheese (typical of this area) produced by a friend of mine but the surprises don't end there!

This tour is worth doing it for many reasons! First, Kevin, the guide, is a local but has an English mother, so you won't struggle to understand him as it happens with some Italian tour guides :P Then he is smart and knowledgable, but at the sime time he paid attention to our needs. Alghero is a gem and visiting it with a guide gives it that special touch!

The start is on an easy, non-demanding dirt road where, after a few kilometers of gentle ascent, take a path that leads us to the top of Monte Timidone, about 400m.... above sea level, from here the view is incredible, a 360 ° view will leave you speechless, obviously a break is a must to eat a snack and take some pictures. But the funniest part is the time of the descent, in fact after some suggestions and technical details on the use of the bike you take the path of the most panoramic Mount to reach the majestic and suggestive Cala Barca, here we are at about 120mt. overlooking the sea and in front of us the visual effect of the Isola Piana will leave us with bated breath. We continue with our ride in search of small beaches in the Porticciolo area and then return to the starting point. Easy excursion level suitable for everyone, especially for families with children

We had our first E-MTB experience with Biking Sardinia. Usually we rent normal MTB’s on holiday, but for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Alghero, this was both an relaxing and exiting experience. Emanuele guided us and told us about the landmarks and history of the area in an entertaining way. Two days later, we went back to rent road bikes. Wanny provided us with very good carbon/ultegra bicycles and advice for a perfect half dat trip. Many thanks!
