Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park

This is a large and very varied park. All of which is immaculate. We came for a nice open-air walk, no golfing this trip. Although most people were not wearing makes, it was a nice breezy day and you could always move away from people. It is such a calm and happy place. From the father/son flying a kite, people playing in the dog run with their dogs, picnics under the pavillions to people using watercraft. Everyone is enjoying themselves. So many things to do here. We even saw a bunch of adults playing Dodge ball. Plenty of open space. Worth the drive.

La La Land

There is so much active fun here that I don't know where to start! Foam pits. Ball pits. Climbing tower. Climbing mountain. Climbing play structures. Mazes. Giant slide. Racing slides. Tubing slide. Trampoline. For the toddlers, there's an entire room just for them, with a big slide, ball pit, ball carousel, rocking bus, whirly tube, blocks, building bricks, and manipulatives on the walls. For the older kids, there's also rock climbing, column jumping, and a canopy walk. They sell pizza and candy and drinks. Bring socks for the kids and grownups, or you can buy them there. You do need to register your kids before the first visit, which you can do online or on one of the kiosks at the entrance. For kids with special needs, be aware that this is a busy, noisy place.

Launch is the perfect place for a day of fun! From the welcoming and helpful staff, to the clean facilities, and thrilling obstacles, it's everything you and your kids will love. It can be so hard to find an easy activity to keep children entertained, but Launch delivers on both excitement and variety. It's a one-stop-shop where they can have a blast for hours on end. Each station is staffed with employees to advise on safety and help visitors with their experience. It's one of those places you can keep coming back to and it never gets boring. And in this Florida heat and frequent rain, I'm happy to have found an awesome place for indoor fun!

Royal Palm Beach Commons Park

Huge park with excellent air conditioned building to cool off. Nice bathrooms, two seperate playgrounds. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the play area. In the summer they have fountains to play in, although they are sometimes broken or set on too high so not always great for babies.

Birding here is fun and varied. Access is good by car or on foot. Limpkins are as close to guaranteed as it gets, and easily seen, even from a car. Egyptian Geese are also here. Mottled Ducks and a variety of egrets and herons are present. Small passerines can be seen well.

Bryant Park

This Park has stunning views of the Lake. It is large, well maintained and not too crowded. It's summer in Florida, so I go for a walk along the Lake Front early in the morning or as the sun is setting in the evening. Plenty of free parking. You only pay for parking if you use the boat launch facilities. Walking in the neighborhood is pleasant also. Very safe. No house is the same and they have been painted and remodeled.
