Wexford lies on the south side of Wexford Harbour, the estuary of the River Slaney near the southeastern corner of the island of Ireland. The town is linked to Dublin by the M11/N11 National Primary Route, and the national rail network connects it to Rosslare Europort. It had a population of 20,188 according to the 2016 census.

OK so I may not be a brilliant golfer however, this is a fantastic golf course. When you compare the bang for your buck with let's say the - K Club there's only one winner and Bunclody is it. It's a beautifully designed course hugged by the gurgling slow moving river Slaney and surrounded by magnificent foliage. The course itself is challenging but fair and this gives all handicap ranges a chance to really enjoy their days golf. The clubhouse is a super design and if I lived close by I would now be a member. Myself and superwife played with Gary H'cap 7 and Trish 22 and they were great company. It's a course worth playing. Obviously, things are a little tricky now with C19 and hopefully we will all pull through. In the meantime, would I go again - YES

A stunning beach in an out of the way place. Parking may be an issue during the high season but it was very manageable in September.
