Even before relocating from Paris my internet searches for bike shops etc brought this great place to my attention..... and now that we're settled in an apartment it transpires La M du V is only a 2 minute walk from my apartment!!! Which is great for me. So today we visited for the first time and decided to lunch at this place..... the restaurant upstairs is great; our salads were the best I've had in Toulouse and very good value for money..... try the "local cola"..... better than the big brand names. Very good service with a smile. The rear garden area/ courtyard has a couple of tables also; during our visit we watched as 10 cyclists used the free workshop for maintenance purposes. Great to see strangers helping each other with their bikes.... I began cycling 40 years ago and lived in several countries and not once have I seen anywhere like La M du V....... a joy to see such a fantastic environment. Check out their very informative website for free workshops times (if you have your own cycle) or bike rental information and remember to visit the restaurant for a decently priced lunch.
