Not really a beach in the true sense of the word - more of a place to walk the dog & take in the views of the river. Take the ferry to Shaldon, walk among the boats & breathe in the salty air

Teignmouth Adventure Golf

This was the third golf course of our holiday, and this one is a cracker! There is a lot of on-street parking around The Den on the seafront- head for Lower Point car park TQ14 8BW and you'll find a space on the way- for around £3 for 2 hours- plenty of time for a round of golf and a picnic. The course itself has 12 holes and is dotted with dinosaurs and water hazards. It provided a good level of challenge, and we had some holes-in-one and some maximum stroke holes too. There's a cafe and a play area next door, and a short stroll away you'll find the pier and various restaurants and shops. Great fun.
