The 10 Best Nightlife in Holborn, England

April 6, 2022 Chanda Heide

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

Ye Olde Mitre

Reviewed By Walleroonie - Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Beware, this pub is accessed from two sides, the one we chose was the Hatton Garden side, I had the cider, it was fabulous, also had a plate of pork scratchings, also delicious. Well the cider and the area had an effect on me, I am now engaged to a fabulous, beariful woman and the Mitre can take some of the credit. A happy, lively, old London pub.

Flight Club

Hello, we're Flight Club Bloomsbury. Spectacular bar, electric atmosphere, mind-blowing experience, this is Social Darts.

Visited Flight Club for the Brunch on the 14th with 6 friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had an absolute ball. We were allowed into the venue 15 minutes early and because the venue wasn't full we were allowed to spend 2 hours playing darts. We really enjoyed the games and the fact that you could take photos and videos with the technology. They also put some silly props to use for the photos. We also loved the action replay function when someone checked out. The staff were fantastic and really looked after us bringing us lots of delicious pizza including veggie options, water and juice top ups etc. We also enjoyed the bottle of Prosecco each and were all a bit tipsy by the end of the 2 hours :) I received an email yesterday containing all of our photos, videos, action replays etc. which we've shared with each other. Lovely touch. It's a brilliant venue for any gathering whether it's with friends or work colleagues, large groups or small. We all thought the £35 each paid was very good value for what we received and I would highly recommend. Thanks Flight Club.

The Seven Stars

Reviewed By displaynameisenough - London, United Kingdom

This is a great London pub - a London boozer, indeed - in the centre of legal London, right opposite the rear entrance of the Royal Courts of Justice. A great maritime pub, too, dating from 1602 - it is named after the Seven Provinces of The Netherlands and was a haunt of Dutch sailors in the Seventeenth Century. Yesterday it was the haunt of British sea officers, serving and retired, after a City Naval Club lunch in The Law Society's Hall. The pub cat, 'Clement Attlee' is a character and walks the bar - who cares - it's fun! The bar staff were fine - for a quiet afternoon, a dozen or more of us made young Marius, the Romanian barman all on his tod for the expected quiet afternoon, rather busy and he coped cheerfully. The quirky spiral staircase to the first floor toilets are not suitable for most of those with a disability. A great afternoon and evening we had - I'd give this pub seven stars if I could.

London Cocktail Club Shaftesbury Avenue

Old school British Navy style pin-ups and skull & crossbones adorn the walls; not to mention our bespoke tattoo artwork created by the awesome Rose Whittaker. This basement bar is an after work, hair-down, ties-off celebration of consequence-free drinking for an “up for it” crowd. The soundtrack of your youth echoes loudly through the speaker, don’t be surprised to find yourself singing along!
