Morpeth Gallery

Located in the historical village of Morpeth in the Lower Hunter Valley, Morpeth Gallery has an excellent selection of fine traditional Australian landscape & wildlife art by internationally and nationally acclaimed artists. The gallery specialises in investment art with pieces which appreciate over time. The gallery opened in 1991 as a part of the Campbell's Store Craft Centre complex.

Morpeth has a number of very interesting places to visit and wander through both on the Main Street and in the little laneways. This gallery is one of those side excursions that will reward your time with a number of experiences. There is something for just about everyone including artworks, toys and local foods. I was impressed with the ginger beer tastings and left with a number of bottles.

Not only is Roxbox a spacious place but it is also unique. A perfect place to get gifts for family and friends at a reasonable price. I got my Christmas presents from Roxbox last year, there are various crystals, rocks, jewellery and kids educational toys like make your own crystal kit which was an instant hit for my 5 year old niece. I have been there few times and I have not been disappointed. I think its a great spot to take your little ones to explore too.

Studio Amsterdam shows the artworks of Patricia Van Lubeck. Realism, Surrealism and Magic realism. Patricia’s recently created oil paintings are all about ‘individualism’. Human characteristics translated into slightly neo-surrealistic landscapes. Most of the people can associate themselves with one of the trees in the paintings. The trees are performing like actors.
