Hello, My wife & I were a part of this small group tour with another Brazilian family.Our guide was Micael Neto.He was very friendly & very approachable from the start of the tour.He drives well & is able to communicate his point in English.We personally preferred the Aveiro part to Coimbra.The Costa Nova beach & the light house were fantastic.The Moliserro cruise is an experience one should have.We had lunch & Avos Moles at the Market Square at Cafe Pixinho.The Coimbra tour was mainly a university,cathedral & the market square. Speaking personally about Micael a few incidents which stood out for me, a)He found a restaurant in Aveiro which serves vegeterian food for us. b)In Coimbra when the others were busy in the university he took us to the Botanical Garden & Cathedral. c)He helped us plan the rest of our trip in Porto & Lisbon with his suggestions. d)He even recommended places to have vegeterian food near our hotel. e)He ensured that each members personal interests were taken care off during the tour.He made it a point to understand our likes & dislikes.Eg.He made it a point to show me the storks nests & the Dragao stadium. My wife and I have just returned early from a trip that incorporated a tour through Spain and Portugal organised by Portugal Trails. Although the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic prevented us from completing the tour, we were highly impressed by the thoughtful and meticulous pre-planning provided by the company, the quality of all bookings and recommendations as well as the attention to our welfare during the growing emergency. The cancellations and refunding of unused portions of the tour were efficiently and quickly completed with a minimum of fuss. I cannot recommend this company too highly.

We had tickets to see Madonna's Madam X Tour in Lisbon in early 2020. On our prior visit to Lisbon with my mother, we had such a great experience with Andre we reached out again to arrange custom tours to Sintra and Porto while there. Andre was such a pleasure and made sure we had got the most out of our trips outside of Lisbon. The first trip was to Sintra. While Pena Palace is a very popular and photogenic site to visit, there are other palaces and hidden gems to include while there. Make sure you include local food and drinks as well. We are still missing the pastries at Piriquita and the local foods at restaurants in small towns along our way. The views along the coastline are spectacular. A couple of days later we did a day trip to Porto to see if we should stay there on our next trip to Portugal. What a great decision! I was well worth the trip to view the city from the bridges, walk through the city, sit and sample port wines (with chocolates) and views at a local distillery. Andre's tours will not disappoint you and if you have can't decide, he is very good at helping you build the tour that best meets your needs. Ruben was a great guide. He picked us up at the Lisbon airport and took us on a 4 hour tour of Sintra and Castle of the Moors. Hugo was easy to work with and responds quickly on email. Would recommend this tour and company.

Raul took us around sintra explaining everything very well! He took us to all the places we wanted recommended the best things. He had a fast track to entering the palace and a discount for families. Recommended very good food. He is very fun and very professional. We went to palace de pene and caba de roca and central sintra. Loved the trip! Make sure you are dressed well and and have TRAINERS ON cuz there’s a lot of Walking!
