Teatro comunale Dietro il bel prospetto di stile neo-classico, risalente agli anni 1894-1895, si apre un teatro moderno, realizzato negli anni ’30 del secolo scorso, che ha sostituito quello di fine ottocento ed è stato oggetto di recente recupero. In esso, convivono i tanti teatri che hanno ospitato diverse forme di spettacolo, secondo le esigenze ed il costume cittadino nei diversi periodi di attività. Per la costruzione del teatro, che doveva soddisfare il gusto della borghesia cittadina, occorsero ben 11 anni e furono impegnati tre progettisti. Alla fine dei lavori il Teatro Comunale contava 213 posti a sedere, ripartiti su platea, due file di palchi e galleria. Oggi il Teatro Comunale ospita la stagione di prosa e musica, anche grazie alla collaborazione con il Consorzio Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, importanti compagnie e artisti di chiara fama.
