Convenient, and a Great Location
Reviewed By ahannah1989I was here for 5 days while the USA played in Natal for the World Cup. To start the value is pretty good, during the cup it was R$200 a night, which was double what the normal price was, but this place was still cheaper than a lot of other hotels in Ponta Negra. There are lots of nice places to eat nearby. A pizza place, a per kg at the shopping center a few blocks away, and other restaurants as well. You can see the ocean from the street the hotel is on, its only like a block to the beach from the hotel, which is pretty nice. The big sand dune "Morro de Careca" that is popular in Ponta Negra is nearby, as well as the Parque das Dunas. The room was basic "a bed, a/c, frdge, stove, closet, but no cookware" so if you want to cook you can but you need your own stuff. I liked it a lot, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff here was really nice, Marcelo who worked during the day is awesome guy, super helpful if you want a tour or have any questions. The young guy that works at night is helpful about things to do as well. Breakfast was from 7-10am and had fruits, natural juices, eggs, bread, cake and many things to choose from, it was really good! I enjoyed my stay here and will definately be back for sure!

Worst place ever
Reviewed By Huesero49We were very disappointed and do not recommend staying here. AKA: "Pousada Tia Lucy". The accomodations were not as advertized. We were miserable. The food handling was unsafe. They did not respect Covid-19 precautions and they never wore masks or gloves. We became ill. They had large extended family gatherings that put us at risk, including a crying baby and a retarded person. The owner, was a hauty, arrogant, "cara madeira". She rummaged through our belongings while we were away and stole from us. She even bragged about going through another guest's underwear, a nice man from Poland. The pool was cloudy and made of small plastic, and not filtered adequately. We had bites on our skin, either from contaminated water or bed bugs. The bed was NOT a King Mattress (ONLY SAGGY, LUMPY, UNEVEN TWIN BEDS). The air conditioner was dysfunctional and governed at 25C or higher, thus making you sweat all night long. The noise and smell of gas and trash and fumes from sewage and outhouses directly in front of the property were nauseating. The entrance and view was obstructed by sagging electrical wires that put us at risk of electrocution. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Reviewed By Marcelo GLocal longe da area turística, então caso você queria se hospedar neste quarto esqueça ponta negra, muito difícil de chegar fica próximo a rodoviária de Natal . O Endereço está errado eles deveriam colocar um numero de referencia na Avenida Jeronimo Câmara , não indico . Um vila de casa familiar fica entre os bairros de Lagoa Nova e Cidade da Esperança . A noite é meio complicado para achar lugar para comer, farmacias e supermercados. não recomento. Fiquei sabendo q os quartos são usados por estudardes de outra cidades..

Reviewed By MurrayG493Honestly , for me this place was pure heaven. I have never ever been so relaxed, chilled out and happy, it was just what I needed. I had a swim every night under the stars with a glass of red. It’s not expensive, in fact , very very good value for money to be frank. The food was great, and they'd work around you. The service couldn’t of been nicer, and they were always smiling. The Internet was ok, and worked in the restaurant and room, but if you have more than one device in your room, then it becomes a bit tricky , so that would be my only suggestion, that the WIFI gets upgraded.The decor and style is very contemporary , cool, quite chic and two story bar and cafe, and around 5pm you go to the bar, sip cocktails and sit in a hammock and watch the sunset which is incredible. They say this is the new Tbau Du Sol…..I think they might just be right. You come here to get away from the world and this is the perfect place. I walked along the beach in the morning , did some writing and had lunch , more writing , swim, writing and so on…….In fact by the time I left , I hugged them and even shed a little tear as I hadn’t had peace and quiet like that in years as I headed off on my donkey that they organised and included in my bill. I’ll never forget my time here…..truly once in a lifetime experience……if you want the real Brazil……then this is your place…..

Everything in the Pousada Nova Holanda is simple and practical. Because it was build using natural materials and tropical woods, it's really beautiful though. The apartments have a lot of space, are comfortable and in excellent condition. We are informal and easy going. No room maid will wake you up at nine to clean up and you can have breakfast any time. Everything happens when you ask for it, the moment you ask for it.
