Nice place to rest
Reviewed By aalman265394From the outside it do not seem that there is a hotel but there is a nice place with nice people working there, the beed is good, the restroom is good, the room is not big but it is enough to rest an take a shower before visiting Querètaro

Reviewed By PolkKingWe really enjoyed this small, 6 room, hotel just steps away from the main plaza of Bernal. It was the low tourist season and we were able to book 4 of the 6 rooms. I telephoned Casa 19 one month in advance. Each room has its own unique look with rustic wood, brick and stone walls. All rooms had their own private showers and toilets. We had 2 rooms with queen beds and 2 rooms with 2 double beds. All of our beds were very comfortable. The lobby of Casa 19 is very quaint and we used the round table for family gatherings in the evenings and enjoyed the instant hot coffee to warm us up on those very cool mornings and evenings. Even though our room, Mario, was in the lobby area, we were not disturbed. There is a television in the lobby, but we asked that it be turned off when the desk clerk left for the evening. One of the drawbacks of being in Bernal during the low season was that Casa 19's rooftop restaurants and bar were not open during the week. Although they are open for business on the weekends during this time. The view from the rooftop is stunning. We were able to find a restaurant to open for us for breakfast via the helpfulness of a waiter from the Meson de la Roca restaurant. Casa 19 supplied us with shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and bar soap, bath towels and wash clothes, however, the rooms do not come with hand towels nor bathroom floor mats. Knowing that the desk clerk left early in the evening, I did ask for extra toilet paper which was happily provided. A room with one queen size bed cost 900 Mexican pesos or $51 USD per night. And, a room with 2 double beds cost 1,200 Mexican pesos or $69 USD per night. We felt vey safe in Bernal and Casa 19. All in all, I would highly recommend Casa 19 for its location, friendly and helpful staff and unique rooms.

After seven years in Querétaro, can't believe I didn't find this jewel until now!
Reviewed By ChilangringoPlace is run by local Otomí community members. Food is good. Rooms are comfortable. Highly recommend couples get a room with a queen bed. Pool a little cold but spectacular views. Hot stone massage is a must. Ask that Laura be your masseuse - seven years of experience there. We didn't do the temazcal but it looked amazing. Getting a package - room, food, massage and/or temazcal - is totally worth it. You'll have to deposit 50% into a bank account up front and forward them your deposit slip to confirm but it's all legit. Pay the rest in cash or card when you arrive. Take your own wine or a cooler with beer. Totally fine with management. Don't recommend taking kids. Most people go there to chill out, relax, medidate. Best spot I've been to close to Querétaro in seven years! P.S. If you're not used to staying at places run by local communities, manage your expectations about customer service from the get go and just relax and have a good time.

Reviewed By Susie CThis place was recommended to us by the tourist kiosk in the plaza of Jalpan. Its close enough to the center of town that we could hear the church bells ring from our balcony. The sign says "Hotel Real Aurora" and their slogan is "a tranquil place to rest"- yes, just what we needed. It's SO clean wow. AC is powerful. Our room had a king size bed with a table for 2. Everyone was so kind, helping us with our bags and finding us parking (the street was blocked for construction, otherwise they have their own lot). Driving all through the Sierra Gorda mountains this is my favorite stop and I miss it now that we're gone.

El dueño es amable y accesible, no es tan caro a comparación de todos los hoteles que hay en Tequisquiapan que rebasan un siete y dos ceros, este al contrario es más barato entre comillas por que al igual que todas las demás posadas ofrecen lo básico, cama King, baño, agua caliente, internet y cable por poco menos de cinco y dos ceros, deberían regular más el precio de los hoteles en Tequisquiapan. Instalaciones limpias y nadie te molesta. Yo lo recomiendo, hay que apoyar a quienes son más conscientes en cuanto a la relación calidad/precio.

Noche en Ixmiquilpan
Reviewed By aliconafLugar normal para dormir en Ixmiqulman. Pedir un cuarto lejos de la cisterna porque, ah cómo hace ruido la bomba del agua. Accesible para el centro de Ixmiquilpan donde puedes desayunar unos tamales frente a la iglesia de un muy buen nivel.

Reviewed By PerlaObregonEstá catalogado como de 2 estrellas pero te las quedan a deber porque:.Las paredes sucias, había cucarachas, no me hicieron limpieza, moho en el baño, el estacionamiento muy limitado en los horarios, sin focos, cochambre en los rincones, la recamarista grosera y las toallas eran trapos viejos, Adalberto el de la recepción es grosero y alega cuando debería arle verguenza trabajar ahí.
