Although it is at a walking distance, however, the steep slope does not make it possible for everyone to cover the distance to market on foot. Service - there is only one person "Mukesh" to cater to requests. He responds well, but the complimentary breakfast was not provided, although we provided information the earlier day about our early morning cruise

Reviewed By 2310santoshThe property is neat and clean with well behaved staff, and good food. The best thing is hotel is in city heart very close to Airport and also to haddo warf to get ferry to havelock. Got all assistance from hotel to complete the trip. My family was very much satisfied.

Reviewed By PiyushShah111I stayed in this hotel for four nights. The hotel photos shown on Booking.com are not of the same hotel rooms. I had booked two rooms. The rooms were on the first floor. I had booked deluxe room. I was not provided with a deluxe room on the day one. On the next day, when I inquired, I was advised that deluxe room is on the second floor. There is no way I and my wife could go to second floor. The hotel does not have an elevator. I and my other guests were provided rooms on the ground floor. This hotel is a dirty hotel. I found cockroaches crawling in broad day light. I had asked staff to kill cockroaches in broad day light using chemicals. The washroom/bathroom is dirty. The bed sheet had holes. There was no curtain in the ground floor room. I had to ask the staff to curtain. The staff did not have a curtain to fit the room. The staff ended up using two curtains of different color to cover the windows. This hotel does not server breakfast until 7-45 AM. I had packed breakfast on the day one. But looking at the cleanliness of the hotel and cockroaches crawling on the floor, I decided not to eat this breakfast. I asked hotel management not to prepare breakfast for us. The hotel staff had left uncleaned dinner plates and left-over food items in the breakfast area on the first floor and a small room on the ground floor. I was so upset with the staff, cleanliness and the room facilities that I had to the staff to connect me to their Managing Director whose name is Sundaram. I explained everything to him. My billing was revised. I did not receive revised bill until I checked out as internet facilities is very poor. Even though, I did not had breakfast, billing worked out also included breakfast. Mr. Sundaram was advised that I am not going to have breakfast for three days. . The photos shown on web site I used to book are not the same as of this hotel. There are no red curtains in the room. There are no bed sheet red covers. The hotel was sent a message to arrange airport pick up. I did not get any response. The phone appearing on Booking.com is not the correct phone number. I am extremely dissatisfied with this hotel.

Our hotel property is located at the prime location which is 1.2 k.m. far from the airport and 3.8 k.m. far from the main market i.e aberdeen bazar. apart from being in the heart of the city we provide you calm and homely atmosphere. our room has standard and deluxe category with all the required amenities (e.g. car parking, air conditioning, TV, Wifi and swimming pool). including a travel desk we provide fresh homely food which will make you feel like you are at your home. the nearest beach from the hotel is carbyn's cove beach 5.5 k.m. and cellular jail 4.8 k.m. and anthropological museum 3.1 k.m.
Most pathetic place to stay
Reviewed By nitinnaAvoid staying at this so called guest house. 1. The photographs posted by Swarajdeep Guest House management are absolutely deceptive. They are not even close to what they claim to be in those photographs. 2. One is greeted by the stink of open drainage lines on both sides of the Guest House. To top it there are all species of mosquitoes all over the place ready to pester you throughout your stay. 3. We had requested a mosquito repellent spray to the management. One which we got post atleast 7 repetitive reminders at regular intervals. 4. The so called pool consists of water that is absolutely unclear and seems uncleaned over the past few months. It's best for mosquito breeding though. 5. Bathroom was unkempt and untidy. With no bath towels or handwash or soap provided. Guess we as guests were supposed to carry all those. 6. The TV was a show piece. There were cables around but there were no active cable channels. Just a blank black screen is what we got to be viewed for entertainment. 7. The commercials that were charged to us was all in cash and no receipt provided even after asking for the same. 8. Despite of all the pathetic conditions, Commercials were at par with the premium charges levied by competitors in local market. 9. Bookings were falsely shown to be cancelled by management for fear of genuine feedback from us. Our stay at Swarajdeep Guest House was horrible to the core. We will neither recommend nor advise anyone to stay at this pathetic place ever.
