Amazing view and location!
Reviewed By Lisa3452Overall this was a great place to stay. Very nice apt, amazing location, the view was great and the place was overall comfortable. The host provided us with bread, eggs, milk, coffee, everything you need in the morning. We would stay again! The only recommendation is that the place could have been cleaner. We still loved it!

The Hotel is located on an area of 1 hectare, the same as It has a private beach on the banks of the Cañete River and surrounded by mountains, at an altitude of 2950 meters above sea level. In our restaurant with a panoramic view of the Cañete River, dishes from the Novo Andina gastronomy are prepared in base to Trout and Alpaca meat. We also have vegetarian options.
Great escape
Reviewed By johnfD5159OQVilla de Arma is perfectly located in a beautiful section of the Canete valley. Huancaya and its turquoise lakes are an hour away as is the stunning Sinhua valley reached via a dramatic canyon above Alis. At Tinco the highest 'high altitude' pedestrian bridge in the world is an incredible sight while the extensive Inca terracing at Laraos has to be seen to be believed. The road above the small towns of Alis and Tomas are extremely dramatic as is the one to nearby Miraflores which, for 100 metres, runs along a ledge cut deep in to the side of a river cliff. We saw condors every day for 5 days, including 3 circling us above the hotel as we ate breakfast one morning. The hotel is super friendly, clean and well run - very willing to meet guests needs. Meals can be taken outside on a terrace overlooking the river or in a spacious dining room with an attractive mural depicting local scenes and wildlife. The menu specialises in alpaca - 'lomo saltado de alpaca' is a must as is trout 'a las finas hierbas'.

Reviewed By lalavidaesbonitaWe were there for 4 days, our room was a bit small, but very clean, personnel very helping, breakfast was good too. It,s located in the heart of the village. 2 minutes from everything, plaza del armas, convenience store, bakery.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast!
Reviewed By 4foolsofwonderThis is a quant B & B at the top of a hill with expansive views of the harbor and ocean. We visited in winter but were still able to sit on the terrace at night. The family room on the top floor had windows all around and even though there was no heater, the host brought up lots of blankets to keep us warm. The host was very warm and gracious and made us a delicious breakfast. Pucusana is a very authentic fishing village and is a great place to immerse yourself in the Peruvian coastal culture. We took a boat out for fishing and a harbor tour with a very nice man - Luis Castillo +51 956177 187. He only speaks Spanish but you can easily communicate what you want to do. We ate at Jhony II everyday. The seafood was so fresh - we saw the fishermen deliver it while we were sitting at the table and the owner was very friendly. If you are looking for a half day fun adventure, I highly recommend Sandboard Lima (which is reviewed under Lima activities).

The Plaza Norte shopping mall is walking distance from the hotel. If you like Peruvian food, restaurants are a few yards away when you step out. The hotel staff is always willing to help you out with any questions you may have concerning directions, places of interest, food stores, pharmacies, gyms.The hotel also can arrange taxi pick up on your way back to the airport. The house keeping crew keep the rooms nice and clean and very comfortable. I've met people from all over the world since I've been staying there. On my next trip, definitely I'll be staying there. world

Reviewed By Floreadaniel6We have traveled the world and about to Leave Lima Peru wherevwe stayed at the most wonderful Bed and Breakfast called the Barranco Lodge. The rooms were clean quite , safe and close to the Art museum and gallerys. The staff is Venezuelan and are the very best host we have the pleasure to know. Juan and his family are incredible. The host walk me down four dark streets to the supermarket last night then he took my heavy grocerys and would not let me carry them back to our lodging. If you are staying in Lima this is the B&B you might conceder the prices were fair and the warmth and kindness these people gave us was the true highlight of lima.

Great escape
Reviewed By johnfD5159OQRefugio Vinak offers a wonderful rustic rural escape and, incredibly, can be reached in just a few (around 6) hours from Lima. Try to stay 3+ nights if possible, to make up for the long journey and to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The valley above Florida is especially attractive - we saw condors both days - and, for the more adventurous, above Hortigal there are plenty of Puya Raimondi. Many nice walks also originate from the Refugio. The Refugio is comfortable and cosy with open wood fires and all our meals featured delicious local Andean ingredients. The staff were very friendly and attentive to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The views at sunrise and sunset are awe-inspiring.

Also, the staff were so hospitable and helpful- thank you so much! The location is great and the decor is just incredible. I highly recommend this place!!!
