Beautiful quiet rooms, wonderful staff!!
Reviewed By wendy_gocatsBeautiful quiet hotel in Tonalá Centro. It was a great place to escape the craziness of shopping and the tianguis! Staff was very accommodating. Doors were kept locked to ensure safety of all the guests. Wonderful private parking. Happily surprised to see AC in the room. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Tonalá.

Doña Francisca Hotel Boutique is a beautiful and charming hotel, located in the heart of Talpa de Allende, Jalisco, just a few meters from the Basilica of the Virgin of Talpa. Previously used to be a house of a typical arquitecture with an interior patio, it was remodeled to become a beautiful 22-room Boutique Hotel. Doña Francisca Hotel Boutique offers continental breakfast included.
Hotel, cleanliness and location are the best. Customer service the worst.

To start, the reception allowed to see only the forehead of person at the reception, when you arrive it seem like no one is there, not sure if they see who gets in and out of the property. Room was very clean, the facilities are beautiful and clean, location is perfect, tv had no very good reception, but no big deal with that. On 25th morning, asked receptionist for someone please clean up the room and some extra towels, the person at the reception said "ok", but when came back, after 2 excursions and the whole day out, room was not even free of garbage, not extra towels. Next and last day, we planned to have breakfast before checking out, but, at 7:30am, person at the reception said, breakfast was served until 8:30am. When we checked in, person at the reception said Breakfast was served everyday at 7am. So we had tamales and atole, which was nice too but with 9YO, 2YO children plus grandma outside with that cold, well, it was warmer and more confortable inside. Maybe Dec 24th and 25th are too complicated for people who work there. But, I will pay something more affordable, for better service next time.

We are a small hotel with only six rooms, our service is very personalized and relaxed, we offer spacious and comfortable rooms with cable tv service, free wifi, continental breakfast included, we acept maximum 2 adults per room, we do not accept children or pets. The house that gives raise to Hotel Casa Montore is a historical house from 1930 that has been renewed as a hotel, we are placed strategically, only 1o minutes of distance from historical Down Town, y and five blocks away from Chapultepec Avenue, we are very near from Glorieta Minerva and malls. We are waitinf for you to reserve, Visit us
Wonderful Hotel and Staff

I can say without a doubt that Casa Montore is among the best when it comes to coziness, warmness, reliable and professional service. It indeed felt like home away form home. Since the first moment I called to inquire about the hotel, Esther who answered the phone convinced me( with all her enthusiasm about the property) that this was the place I wanted to stay. Esther is an example of what a committed and dedicated employee is. One of the evenings I was going out for dinner I asked Carmen the owner about a good place for stakes and not only did she recommend an excellent rest. but also drove me to it; WOW. This place is EXTREMELY well located, you can walk to all the important sites. Also it is in a quite neighborhood. It is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. I attended the World Baseball Classic and they made sure I had reliable transportation to and form the venue with Juan Carlos and his brother Salvador. What an excellent people. My sincere gratitud for an outstanding stay.

Tiene estacionamiento y gracias al encargado que nos apartó un lugarcito. Pero no lo recomendaría en otra situación, sus habitaciones son muy pequeñas, huelen extraño, el techo es muy bajo... El piso está quebrado y no hay elevador. Es básico totalmente.

Economical and pleasant
Reviewed By inov8orThis family run hotel is very well located near everything and the staff is very friendly. I found it online and it worked for me very nicely. The rooms are small and the beds are typically hard, but the congenital owners make up for it. They invited me to enjoy breakfast with them as their living quarters are near the office.

Horrible service during COVID-19
Reviewed By 589glauciavMy family booked 5 rooms in January for April to attend Tepabril. Due to COVID-19 the fiestas in Tepa were canceled this year. We called the hotel to cancel our reservations and they refused to credit our account. They only agreed to re-schedule our stay, which we don't want to do, especially since there is a stay at home order in Mexico and COVID-19 cases are rising. This hotel does not offer refunds, but during this unprecedented time, we expect exception to that rule. All other hotels are making exceptions. As it is, during the month of April due to the fiestas this hotel charges double their normal rate. Customer Service is horrible! They lost all our future business and we will spread the word.

worst place ever
Reviewed By californiacasting01First of all, I would like to start by saying that if I could, I would give this place zero stars. But I have no choice but to give them a star even though they don't deserve it. I travel a lot and have been to a lot of hotels. And I usually stay in hotels with three stars or more. But this place was very dirty and the rooms were very old and not well maintained. Everything in the room looks very old and used and it seemed like they had never maintained anything. And when I wanted to leave the hotel, the girl at the counter was not paying attention to me, all she was doing was playing with her phone.

Near walmart
Reviewed By inov8orI stayed here as it was enroute to another hotel nearby and I was tired and eager to see the historic sights. The room was clean and adequate to my needs. The cost was very affordable too. I didn’t eat at the restaurant as there are many close by. The bus to the ETN station stops behind the hotel also.

Reviewed By Ivan sWe arrived at mid-night and they attend us properly. Room was recently remodeled and it was a paint odor everywhere. There were not towels at the bathroom and pillows were too hard. At the end there were no staff in the desk so we could not check out.

Noisy Hotel
Reviewed By Doreen RIf you value your sleep, don't stay here. There is a bar in the hotel and one outside next to the hotel that plays loud music late into the night. The toilet in my room never worked properly in spite of a hotel employee "fixing" it. When my friend and I arrived, having booked through Booking.com, we discovered we had booked at a price almost twice as much as what was advertised inside the hotel by the check-in desk. The lady behind the desk said Booking.com charges that much. This had never happened in any hotel either myself or my friend had stayed in before. We were able to cancel our reservation and then pay the price advertised in the hotel but this large fee that Booking.com supposedly charges seemed to be a scam to us. Had we known though how noisy the hotel would be at night we would have canceled our reservation and run like crazy to another hotel.
