Reviewed By Shahana SIt was my honeymoon and we had the best experience especially front desk and also room service very friendly and helpful, Just one thing towels and bed sheets are poor qualities and no hot water and bath tub in the bathroom ,All over was a great place to celebrate any occasions.

Great Hotel for visiting Dhaka!
Reviewed By antjepikantje87We came for holidays in the beginning of February 2020 to Bangladesh and chose “The Capital LTD” for our stay in Dhaka. We had a very professional and polite check-in. The rooms were nice, well the beds are quite hard, but cleanliness and the whole service were very good! Especially Adnan and Habib were very helpful. They also helped us very much in getting train tickets last minute! The restaurant was also quite good with reasonable prices. The chef was very friendly. Also the location of the hotel is quite good, since you are not too far from old Dhaka but you are not directly in this very busy part of the town. We had a really good time and felt really safe. We highly recommend “The Capital LTD”!

Our hotel while in Dhaka
Reviewed By cbs1306We had booked in Marriot Guest House but shifted to this hotel as no lift access was available in the former.Bad location ,may be due to construction activity around and cleaning going on the lake front.Staff was extremely courteous and the restaurant manager prepared food to our liking.Rooms had ne view at all as all widows were closed and barred for insects and mosquitos!

Reviewed By london176Stayed 1 night and pick up from airport was good and as planned with a pleasant driver. The first thing I noticed when arriving at the hotel was the damp smell in the reception. Unfortunately this was also evident in the twin room which was very cramped. There was no safe in the room as stated on the notices. The service overall was okay but not as good as other hotel's in Bangladesh. The worst bit was when checking out and the chap in reception was sleeping behind the desk! I couldn't wake him up but the security guard managed to. There was no greeting and he seemed a bit perturbed that I had woken him! The shuttle bus was there but no driver so they put me in an Uber to the airport. Oh and the AC didn't seem to work so I didn't get much sleep which wasn't helped by the rock hard mattress.

The Milonchhori Hillside Resort is conveniently located only 4 kilometers from Bandarban town on Chimbuk road. We have accommodation facilities for 50 persons in various categories, including air-conditioned cottages, tribal houses, and dormitory. All cottages and houses have attached bathrooms, most cottages with running hot water. The restaurant “RESTORA RIGRRE KHYANG” is located near the entrance.

Reviewed By ShotuKhanIt may have been a good resort years back. Nowadays it is dilapidated in disrepair. The rooms are smelly, bathrooms shabby with water stagnation on the floor, geyser not working...all terribly rundown. Food very ordinary. Less said about the bad experience, the better.

As is situated at the centre of the city, I experienced high level of noise.During the time I visited the area, was a ceremony was going and some people who stayed in the hotel made loud noise till the mid-night. This perhaps was incidental.

A bit deserted
Reviewed By Jane EWe arrived at the Chez Razzak Suites after dark and left the next morning at dawn so I have no idea what it looks like from the outside. We were driven into a parking area through a security gate that I assume was locked after our car departed. Check in was easy with some English spoken at the front desk. We seemed to be the only guests - at least there were no others in evidence during our one night stay. My room was fairly standard with a tiled floor and queen bed that was far too hard for my taste, an issue that seems common in South Asian hotels. The room also had a desk and closet and a small TV. The bathroom had a walk in shower with lots of hot water. The rooms (sleeping and bath rooms) were very well lit. There was an overhead fan and a/c neither of which were needed for a cool winter night. The in room wifi was excellent - easy to use and very fast. There is a restaurant on the 7th floor but it was deserted in the evening and we left before breakfast in the morning. Overall, this is a reasonable guest house for a 1 night stay.

Nice huts, great little waterway
Reviewed By kierons163These huts are fairly basic but lovely and comfortable. The setting is really nice and our kids spent a whole day playing in the water running through the site. Tapas who liaised with us for the booking is one of the nicest and most genuine humans you will meet. He and his friends have opened up and restaurant opposite here and seem to be doing everything they can to make it a success for them and the community. Tapas organised excellent wildlife guides for us without which we never would have seen a 10th of the wildlife we did.
