The immersive experience at Marina Yoga has been life changing. I am currently taking the 200 hour yoga teacher training course and am learning so much about yoga, the world, myself, and how it's all connected. The center is only about 10-15 minutes from the Ao Nang beach, just a short tuk tuk ride away. The center itself is bursting with flowers, plants, art, and life. It's very beautiful and serene. The food here ranges anywhere from vegetable lasagna to traditional thai food, there's something for everyone. There's even a student kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. The instructors are very experienced, knowledgable, and warm hearted. They are excellent at answering questions and making sure everyone is on the same page, even if english isn't a students first language. I have gone through some difficult life experiences recently and all of the staff here has been so open and compassionate, really facilitating healing from the inside out. Here I have the opportunity to really look inside and explore my mind and body in a place of love and freedom. It's not just a yoga teacher training course, it's a catalyst to positive change in my life.

Myself and my boyfriend went to a macrame class at Asalanta and loved every minute! Anke and Aoi have built an incredible haven in the jungle which works as a home, a creative space, an organic tearoom, unique shop and an inspiring learning zone. From the moment we arrived, Anke, Aoi (and their beautiful daughter, Asa) were welcoming, passionate and knowledgable about everything from turning clay into bricks, a river into running water using solar powered energy and gravity, bamboo into a balcony and a waxy string into a perfectly knotted hammock for a hand picked stone/crystal. The food at Asalanta is fresh, local, organic and very tasty! The class was fun, informative and a great success, as we both left with beautiful pieces of jewellery and the knowledge on how to continue our new hobby at home. We would both highly recommend visiting Asalanta, whether it be for just a tea, snack or one of the many classes they put on. We had a fantastic day and will certainly be returning!

Em (owner/operator) was great. Our family has mixed experience - 16yo daughter very experienced down to me who had never climbed plus two mid level climbers. He managed us all on different levels extending and encouraging each of us to our best level. The equipment and shop are really nice - very high quality, very new. Em has helped us plan some further climb days to customise our experience. Super happy!!!

I'm interested in the 3 day course, specially about the standard massage practice and the theory of elements according to Thai Traditional Medicine because. I already have some knowledge in Anatomy, physiology and stretching techniques. The school is good atmosphere, good teacher, spoke english very well. I have many knowledge from here.

We looked to do something a little different from lounging on the beach or by the pool for my girlfriend’s birthday, and decided upon climbing. Now, after a morning of climbing we’re back by the pool, tired, aching but feeling fantastic - what a brilliant experience! Having neither of us climbed outdoors before (there’s not too much of that in London), we went for a beginners course through our hotel. We feel fortunate this brought us to Mor (maybe book through his website to make sure you get him). He is a brilliant teacher, guide and just a very, very chilled and easy to get along with person. He speaks good English, can easily explain everything and answer questions. He was encouraging and really knew the five climbs he took us on (he’s even got a laser pen to point out where to go if you get completely stuck). We felt 100% safe with him and highly recommend. If we’re ever back in Krabi we will definitely go again!

If you hesitate to sign for the DWS tour, seriously, don't! We were a group of six people and we all enjoy ourselves above expectations! The guide provided us great climbing advice but was also really funny. At the end of a climb (or in the middle if your arms don't make it), the rush of adrenaline from the jump is awesome ;) Definitely a must do at railey, tonsai !
