Quality and Excellence

Reviewed By JotonF - Epping, United Kingdom

This has been our regular butcher for a few years now and worth the 10-mile round trip every week. The quality of the food they sell is always first-class and the staff are obliging and friendly. In these difficult times they have excelled themselves in supplying all their customers with a varied and plentiful selection of meat, ham, pies and other provisions as well as an unbelievable selection of fruit, vegetables, salad and other groceries. We send over an order to Sarah-Jane or Mark each week and when we arrive to collect it is put in the back of the car for us. They also do deliveries. These good people are working 15-hour days, six days a week to make sure they offer their customers everything they need for a balanced and varied diet - we can't thank them enough.

I am a 60 year old lady who decided to go on the powerboat level 2 course because my husband and I have just bought our first boat. At first I just thought I would leave everything to my husband on the boat but then I thought for safety reasons I should gain some knowledge. I can’t tell you how nervous and outside of my comfort zone I was when I arrived on the first day!! Ian quickly assured me that everything would be explained and I would be able to do it. The course was part classroom and part out on the water. I overcame my nerves and surprised my self how I could actually learn things. I really enjoyed the first day and went back the next day more relaxed and ready for another exciting day. Ian was a great teacher and really had a good way of making me feel relaxed so that I was able to enjoy what I was learning. I now feel very confident that I would be able to help my husband driving the boat but also able to plan trips and understand all the safety aspects. I have learned so much from the course and would recommend that people sign up as it really makes you confident on the water. I’m going to go on the vhf radio course next. All you ladies out there who think it’s just for men should give it a go. I’m so glad I did. Thanks Ian.
