This was the perfect hotel for our annual girls road biking trip. The hotel is right on the lake, the swimming pool is superb. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make this a brilliant weekend. The food at the restaurant was very good and the seafood pizza restaurant next door also exceptional.

We have stayed several times with Fiorella and Andrea, the owners, and it’s always like coming home. Warm gracious hosts in a friendly pleasant setting. Please don’t come here. It’s so nice we don’t want to share. Lake Viverone is beautiful, with tiny towns of Piemonte dotted all around against a backdrop of the Alps. A short drive takes you to Val d’Aosta, with its valleys, castles and mountains galore. Il Porticciolo is a perfect base for exploring Piemonte, or just for catching some sun and pleasant company. We plan to return.

No sleep at all, the hoteliers know this room above the gambling games room has people chatting arguing and smoking until 6 am when it closes. First thing this morning they had a cleaner out side sweeping up buckets of fag butts. Only sell room 49 when the casino is closed . What a rip off… and they know it. Please arrange a refund and have the brains to know that people want hotel rooms to sleep in

We went there wirh two friends with a camping car for a night. It's an amasing spot: 30 meters from the lake. Very quiet and very cool ambiance. The staff was very funny and nice. The price was alright.
